May I ask, if I download this asset would I be able to learn how this camera shake was made & see the blueprint for it etc^
@ozymans January 11, 2025 - 7:31 pm
how did u create the camera shake?
@TheSoloDIYer January 11, 2025 - 7:31 pm
If you don't have time for tutorials, can you share the project files for this so we can learn from your blueprints? Thank you

Anyone know where to find camera tutorials like this? I can’t find a single one on adding and attaching camera or adjust camera shake with in GASP

Please check how the reticle/target is setup, there's a clear offset onto the right going on, which is a typical mistake any developer out there is doing, a mistake that shows up in all disclosure when playing in hardcore modes with no reticle where the only way to aim your target is the weapon itself. So unless in terms of perspective fireline and center of the screen where usually developer locate the reticle are perfectly aligned, which I know first hand is hard to achieve and most developers don't get into it that deep as should rather be. Tracing lines or, even better, a laser effect like in precision laser aiming system which we would usually play in shooters games do the helpful trick. It needs a lot of tweaking Camera and CameraBoom rotation and position but if we want to make it realistic that's the hard path to go through.

Great job! The one issue I ran into with motion matching and aim down sights is the lag the player has in rotating; so, the camera/reticle will move, and the players waits a bit before turning. Did you do anything special besides slowing down how fast they can turn while aiming? I'd love to know thanks!

If you don't have time for tutorials, could you point me towards some resources for learning what you've implemented here? Specifically the procedural character and camera animations for firing, and the dynamic crosshair?
@Ebenherz January 11, 2025 - 7:31 pm
wish i could do that as well, ive tried to implement simple overlays since 2 weeks but i suck and deleted the project today lol
@DabberooftAnimation January 11, 2025 - 7:31 pm

Very impressive
@ryselPlus January 11, 2025 - 7:31 pm
Man, this is an astounding job congrats! Any plans to make a short tutorial on these features you added to GASP? Especially the body layering part which I see similar to that of ALSv4, which I've tried to replicate with horrendous results. I need a female character too... Btw, subscribed!
