Having a disability and “ normal functioning ppl “ truly understanding them is the most beautiful thing ever. We ( normal humans) think we can teach them but if the truth be known and you welcome the angels in your life they teach you so much more than you could possibly imagine
God knew I needed my angel and the 23 short years I had with her will never be enough

My son was tortured by the public school system who intentionally hid his dyslexia. I finally took him to a doctor at 15 and then he was diagnosed. They actually blocked him from going to the best school in the country. The landmark school by creating red tape to make a long story short. He is a wonderful person and his crutch was sports. He is gifted in all sports thanks to God!

i really enjoyed this movie and the message it conveys about overcoming challenges. however, i feel like the portrayal of the family dynamics was a bit too idealistic. not every family handles struggles in such a harmonious way, and i think it could've been more relatable if they showed some real conflict. just my thoughts!

Adult life is just as difficult. My son just gives up. I cannot tell you how many jobs he has had. I keep hoping he will find his gift but at 30 time seems to be running out.

This is really a beautiful and touching movie. I have been living in great confusion about whom I am for about 30 years. It was not until last summer that I found myself with ASD and ADHD. I have always wished that I could get diagnosed as young as possible, while this movie shows me the life journey of a female with neurodiversity who does receive diagnosis at a young age. Even so, she still faces and undergoes lots of challenges and struggles. This helps me to get a deeper understanding that it's pointless to compare one's pain to another's. Instead, it would mean a lot to do whatever we can to help those in need and make their life a little bit easier, just like what Winter does for Magaret.

Loved the movie and Winter, it just didn't show enough of Winter's art.
I wanted Winter's mother to see how talented her daughter was instead of forcing a square peg into a round hole. Like so many parents do in real life.
Art was my favorite subject at school.
She was so misunderstood. That's how it is in real life.
