RIP Stadia. I know most people prefer discs but because of my living situation back then it was the most convenient way to play.

You need a console anymore. I played tons of games even after my Xbox broke!!

This Xbox strategy is the best, I have my console to play at home but everywhere I go I carry a controller to play on my phone tablet o laptop through Cloud Gaming, even works with the cellphone internet.

Online gaming accounts for the Majority of ALL video gaming. Of this, mobile Gamers are the Largest Online Gaming Audience, accounting for approximately 60% of all online Gamers. stats from Jan 16, 2024 I'm sure the numbers have gone up a Greater amount since then.
so XBOX GOING IN THE DIRECTION IS ONE OF THEIR SMARTEST DECISION THEY COULD HAVE MADE CAUSE THE DIRECTION OF THE FUTURE IS MOBILE AND THE FACT YOU CAN STREAM A GAME ON ANY DEVICE IS AWESOME… IF THEY DON'T DO THIS THEY WOULD BE THOUGHT OF AS SOMETHING OF THE PAST IN THE NEXT 10yrs. Its past november and this hasnt happened. What a suprise.

I refuse to "buy" anything I can't own. I buy physical copies of Blu-rays, DVDs, CDs, and games. I'm not leasing a video game from company that can just stop providing access to it. More and more people are going back to older games because we are frustrated with excessive DLC, battle passes, always online DRM, cash shops, FoMO, and all the other crappy tactics they use to make money off of games with overblown budgets for a disappointing final product. Maybe retro gamers are in the minority but we are happy. I did not buy a PS5 or whatever the new Xbox is called, I bought a Nintendo Switch. Whatever you want to say about the specs of the system is irrelevant to me. Nintendo is at least being innovative when it comes to consoles. Companies like Sony and Microsoft just release mini PCs. I already have a PC. Release some innovative hardware because your platform exclusive games are not doing the trick.

This generation of "they are features and we want it now" has ruined company's that actually put work, research and development, I won't be surprised if Sony throws something together and does the same just less quality more quantity. What's the point for developers who put so much work to create Consoles, phones and other devices if a company just gonna scrap out a bunch of half built devices with no quality in mind just numbers.

Xbox cloud gaming is great. I grew up in the 90s with the gameboys. Dont get me wrong, playing on my pc and consoles is great too. But to be able to take a break at work and play some halo, call of duty or battlefield is pretty badass. I have iPhone 15 pro max and all games run buttery smooth.

I still do not know who this is for… the people that play Candy Crush… want to play games like Candy Crush… people that want X-Box Grade games like COD, HALO and you know (real video games) will want to continue to play on a decent devise… So Microsoft thinking they will get these non-gamers to just flock and buy games those customers do NOT Exist… that crowd that exists just went to STEAM and dare I say it Other platforms/ Consoles… X-box/ Microsoft stop buying games… MAKE some good ones (like you USED to!) Then people will buy them! its that simple.

I don't get this, it's a company, they can have whatever rules they want, it's their company. There are other avenues that are available to use. This monopoly thing is BS. I guess by this reasoning, I can demand anyone to share their game accounts with me. Why? Well, I don't have an account or that game and you do, you hold a monopoly, you must share with me because I'm so lacking in (insert topic), poor me – STFU, go cry in the shower as you hug your knees.
