From a work already done perspective they have shown their talent and have the 2nd most pro-bowlers, but even more importantly they are getting a veteran back on the defensive side of the ball at the perfect time.

I think this is a trap game for commentator vindication. Which ever team looses will give the commentators to room to say, “I told you they weren’t that good.” And then they will snub the winning team too. Unless one of the teams wins it all, both these teams will continue to be snubbed.

MCDC will not allow them to lose. He has waited for this one opportunity his entire life, i cant imagine he will let it slip. I expect the lions to win this game. They have the best offense in the NFL and i believe the coaching staff has plenty in store both offensively and defensively. The lions put up 40 or more this week in a victory

Darnold is no Josh Allen and the Vikings are no Buffalo Bills team so my point is that with our depleted defense we still found a way to be 1 touchdown away from a w. Youre talking what? 35-14 at the half and came back to within 6 points. I have no worries about the Vikings. Yes theyre good and Sam Darnold isnt escaping the pocket like Josh Allen.

Yes it does feel like a playoff game and our pass defense and pass rush need to step it up. Our defense can't hang with a quick tempo pass game, so yup, I am nervous.

This is definitely a playoff game due its placement implications. If the lions win they get a much needed breather. If they lose then it’s an uphill battle all the way. With the defense the way it is I honestly don’t see them beating Minnesota. I hope I’m wrong but it’s going to a hard one for the lions to beat the Vikings.

Super confident we'll win & just as confident that if we do lose, we've proven that we thrive in any & all environments.

What got me all hot & bothered, is clinching NFC North @ HOME.
& obviously the difference between winning the NFCCG @ home.

Considered selling tickets, assuming we'd win, to get a lil coin for the playoff tickets...but no way missing an NFC North clinching game @ home.

What the hell is there to be nervous about?
Anzalone is coming back from an injury, so it may be a game or two before he is back at 100%.
Might play him as a 4th LB not necessarily a blitz option but he is a game-changer and playmaker.

Not nervous at all. Beat them again. This game is definitely more important than a playoff game. It determines if our team plays one less game in the playoffs, which is equal to one automatic playoff win before the playoffs even begin and home field advantage.
