Xbox, xbox 360, xbox one, and now xbox series S. I will always love xbox, they are the reason gaming online with a mic is so normalized. Redmond, WA is a short drive away from me, which makes gaming on an xbox all that more special ❤
You hit the nail on the head! A good bit of PS5 games have the complete game on disc. The Series X version has the XBox One version on disc, then it downloads the Series X version. Garbage!
From what I've seen, the XBox machines have always been lacking. I pernally can tell you that some games that on both PS2 and Xbox 360 look better on the PS2. The PS2 for god's sake. WTF Microsoft?

This is the first console generation I switched to Xbox completely. Xbox series x looks way better which does matter to me especially since I keep my console on my desk but it’s also almost literally dead silent all the time. I have to go right up to it to make sure it’s powered off sometimes. Sony has a few exclusives but even those don’t make me want to hang on to my ps5. Also, unless a ps4 game gets a ps5 upgrade, almost all games from ps4/xbox one days look and run better on Xbox series x because of the Xbox one x
What the next Xbox console totally needs is a Mario Party clone based on the Banjo Kazooie universe based on levels from Banjo Tooie+ new and original bosses that would take on the same controls and gameplay style as Banjo Tooie as well. This game needs 12 playable characters 800 mini games 10 big long boards, and a total of 6 player local or online multiplayer.
Fable. Avowed. 🙌 still waiting for KOTOR 3 and the remake. Also hopefully one day a new unreal tournament game

Xbox…I misread I thought the title said Game Pass Ultimate on PC….
Of course everyone is entitled to his opinion, and PS5 has been the topic of conversation as you said, but all I see is people talking bad and complaining about the ps5.
First complain of people is the lack of real sony exclusives, not third party AA games that sony pay to be timed exclusives on the console.
Second is the disaster called PS5 Pro: nobody liked, except die hard fanboys, and even they, are discovering that the graphic update is subpar, especially compared to it's abusive price tag.
Last, I saw lots of desperation about Death Stranding on Xbox. Many playstation channels that I watch are totally hopeless with Sony right now.
Xbox gamers are really not talking much lately, for one single reason: there's a ton of excelent games on Gamepass coming in a stream that makes hard to make time to play them all!
In my case, I'm on CoD Black Ops 6, trying to finish to start Death Stranding, yesterday Flight Simulator 2024 was released and now we have Stalker 2…! And next month Indiana Jones. Add to all of this Spyro Trilogy, and I bought the new Vampire Survivor DLC (Ode to Castlevania), and I simply don't have time to play everything day one!
PS5? Remakes, remasters, no AAA first party games, disapointing tiny releases like Lego Horizon, unnecessary console upgrade… It feels like Sony it's in the brink of bankruptcy and trying to desperately scrap the barrel for any penny. Sad ending for a brand that one day really dominated the market with quality, today they sell to people in the auto-pilot in the time to choose which console to buy.
All these games have massive patch cycles. Pc is better for preservation at this point.
Microsoft have zero common sense or understanding of videogaming since they went down the toilet by releasing the 'Xbox One' stinking turd. I mean why buy a console that you must have internet access in order to play the games you've paid for? Sony never lost sight of what's important to gamers (i.e. gaming) with their Playstation consoles. Microsoft have gone off the rails and down the ravine. I don't know anybody who purchased an xbox after the 360 console.

Waiting for what? Xbox has had consistent games for 2 year2 now and already got a stacked lineup for 2025. We literally have exclusives dropping next week. It’s actually sad how everyone is so quick to criticize xbox and is silent for PlayStation? Where are their games? With the exception of the console launch and 2022 in which we had to wait 7 months between big releases what has Sony dropped? Look at all the info happening there but y’all tired of waiting for Xbox? Man stop it. If at this point you aren’t satisfied then you never will be

They shoot this brand with the Xbox One reveal in 2013 in the foot and since then its just limping forward.
The creativity is gone and the magic is gone.
By the way – the Remaster/RemakeStation 5 is not better off.

I'll buy the next marvel game on ps5. Other than that I find the games boring and If multiplat they are all better on xbox now, and if made by Sony it's just another remake.

IMO the only exclusive Xbox games worth playing are Halo Infinite, Gears of War5 and Crackdown 3. Anything else I'm missing?
My prediction: in a few more years physical copies of games will be non existent and all games can only be purchased digitally. All the new consoles will be made without disk trays. This will lead to a resurgence of retro consoles and games and the 2nd hand game market. Also the Amazon/online market of hard-drive game machine emulators with 1000s of games included, will explode. These emulator machines are starting to be able to emulate higher level consoles like the PS4 etc. They are getting cheaper all the time and consumers are probably going to give the big finger to Microsoft and Sony for their pricey subscription fees.
Just like Windows 10 was one of the reasons why I gone MAC; X-BOX was one of the reasons why I gone Playstation. In fact may thing's happened but as an Blockbuster Total Acees user the used game iusse ended all hope Mircosoft had of me buying the X-BOX One and of thier letter systems forever.
i've been keeping both systems since the beginning. 360 era i was definitely pro xbox- i still had a ps3, but many more 360 games. the PS4vs xbox one i still had both, but definitely went into MS again (mostly from love of previous era). i still preferred my xbox and only picked up less than 10ps4 games.
Here's where it gets dicey. I still love my xbox series x in regards to performance and the controller, but i am very much disappointed in the amount of physical releases the system gets. both nintendo switch and PS5 are getting physical copies of all the games i want. now my xbox i do have the rewards program (and i get TONS of free games from that), but if you want the physical releases xbox is just not the place to be. I might end up switching fully to PS next system if the trend continues

Theres just this weird biased people have for one system or another, that’s either linked to exclusives, the controllers, or even nothing really lol. I’m not a fan of either consoles exclusives for this generation so far. I could care less for Spider-Man 2. I’m a little burnt on this commercial superhero crap. Starfield was boring (coming from diehard Bethesda fan here) Then consider that 99% of games are on both Xbox and PlayStation. Console matters far less than people think when it comes to games. At least the best games are on both. There have been a few brilliant games on both over the last few years. Especially in the rpg arena.
