Xbox ended the year extremely strong, dropping three exclusive bangers in a row: STALKER 2, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, and my personal vote for Game of the Year in 2024 and the game that I think is the best Xbox exclusive in years, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
So, can Microsoft keep that positive momentum going into 2025? Xbox games in 2025 could be the strongest and most bountiful since at least 2021, when it dropped Forza Horizon 5, Halo Infinite, and Psychonauts 2. Let’s dig into why we’re optimistic.

Moving onto Halo..... Unreal Engine may be a hood yhing. But I can honostly only seeing the next big 1, IF whether temake whoch we HONESYLY DON'T need or reboot, regardless I only see this 1 taking WAY longer to be worked on than prior releases, which honestly doesn't foll me with much confidence at all. After my final exhausion with Drstiny 2, I honestly just want Halo to ho MUCH bigger places and mechanics we've NEVER been taken before..... WarZone could retirn and br SO MUCH bigger/better but perhaps less complexity. I'm always feeling like Halo could sort of take a Destiny-esqu path to get yhere b xause all hell knows the customizations are already well overblown enough I look at some like the samurai esqu armor, they fon't even LOOK/FEEL like Spartans anymore! Like, come ON, Micro$oft/Halo Studios! You keep REPEATING the same basic general formula that gets DUMPED ON EVERY FREAKING GENERATION!! Your IP had WAY MORE POTENTIAL THAN THIS and you simply AREN'T tapping into it!
Lastly, Gears of War E-Day, I feel like that's giing yo be huge. But ehatever hapoened yo Gears of War: Marcus Fenix Collection??
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They got overshadowed by
Astro Bot
Black Myth Wukong
Hell Divers 2
Silent Hill 2 remake
Indiana Jones and the great circle and Stalker 2 was their only good games.Star-field was horrible.Redfall was horrible.
PlayStation fucked up when they produced Concord.
Even with the failure of Concord it got overshadowed by HellDivers 2.
This ain’t even a console war anymore.
