All this cloud gaming discussion going on nowadays was making me want to revisit one of the coolest features from PS3 & PSP, and that’s Remote Play. Looking back, it was wild to think Sony offered this as a proper feature that developers could (but ultimately didn’t) use. Let’s check out what you can and can’t do on one of the earliest forms of streaming on console. Or I guess technically handheld.. well.. you get the idea. We’re gonna stream some PlayStation 3 games to a PSP, ya dig? Yeah, you do. Niceeee.

Beat Fallout 4 on Vita via remote play.
I could watch TV from anywhere in the world with a reasonably good wifi connection.
This was such a good feature at a time when television was much more relevant than today. I remember I could record any program/channel while watching another one, pause and rewind from live, schedule recordings (the PS3 would start by itself in order to record) and watch it later on.
All of it in 1080p and fully compatible with the remote play.
