Both sides are low for scoring numbers, but also low for conceding numbers. I felt the game played out that way, with neither side looking particularly brilliant in the final third areas. Malik Wilks' early header from an excellent Alexander-Arnold style ball from Joe Rafferty looked like the biggest chance for Rotherham, along with an early period of pressure in the second half. Defensively, for Baba Adeeko's goal, Rotherham were awful. Wilks and Green should have tracked back to held Powell and McCart. I'm glad to see us get the three points, but this game wasn't one for the ages.

Blame players - there gutless and won’t play for any manager. There is a plan and they don’t execute it .. there was a plan for Northampton

Only plan i saw today was Kelly man marking Aasgard which then left us short in midfield due to the runs Aasgard was making. Felt for Powell and the back 4. James and Rafferty had no help from Wilks and Nombe and due to Kelly being occupied with Aasgard, Powell as our only midfielder when they got (quite easily) past our front 4, they were allowed the freedom of the midfield to run at our back line. Shocking tactics and felt similar to the wild 523 formation against Brum.
