Persona 5 Royal reviewed by T.J. Hafer on PlayStation 4 Pro.
“Persona 5 was already a strong front-runner for being the best JRPG ever made, and Royal really gets me wondering what else could even compete. The excellent story and its lovable, multidimensional characters along with the challenging, tactical combat are all refined and back for another round with new surprises and new friends in tow. There are new areas to explore and new twists to leave your jaw on the floor. Very little has been left untouched, and just about everything that has been touched is better off for it. The Phantom Thieves have stolen my heart all over again, and I don’t really want it back.”

I’m within the first few hours of my first play through and I can’t put it down.
I love how no one will address the elephant in the room. Game is a boring chore, but for preteens who love Japanese anime they’re willing to go through 100 hours of hell without admitting the chore like experience that made up the game.
Currently on my first play through. Masterpiece
Couldn’t get into it. Not sure why. Usually love rpgs and jrpgs but this one never grabbed me. Felt like more of a graphic novel than a game.
47$ what a steal!
❤❤❤
Playing this Masterpiece in 2024 <3
Ah yes the reason royal is better is because there is a win button in the form of w certain person turned Picaro

The One IGN Review We Can All Agree With!
Great review 💯
P5R sets the bar very high so P6 needs to be out of this world.
a shin megami tensei game but with heart
Im here because P3P, P4 and P5 Royal are on gamepass.
Masterpiece!
Gonna play it for the first time thanks to this review xD
absolutely deserves 10/10,best of jrpg of all time
It's funny, that if you try to explain to someone why Persona 5 is perhaps one of the greatest RPGs ever made, is impossible to do. They just tilt their head wondering what you're on about. It's a very difficult game to explain. You just have to believe the reviews, dive all the way in and, most importantly give it a couple of hours. You really need to sit down and start it when you have time to get through that early part and keep playing. At first, it's almost so confusing, as to be off putting. But after a couple of hours, dots start connecting, everything comes into focus, and you just can't put it down once it does.
This is the only game that made me cry
It's hands down one of the best games ever made. In the top 5.
Also known as "Shin Megami Tensei V with the Heart"
Even after plunging 125 hours into it, I've never been so sad for a game to end. What a masterpiece. I'm sorry it took me so long to play it.
I'm 17hrs in and it's been about 15hrs of talking
The best thing about this KN episode was how diverse it was. You had a Mexican chef cooking Chinese food in an Italian restaurant.
I’m one hour into this and it’s so weird. No action. It seriously holds your hands.
