Just replaced my 12-14yr(?) old Roku in my BR w/a "Walmart exclusive" Roku LE for $15 (Strikethrough Pricing $19.88) and free shipping since I'm a Walmart+ member. Since I always try to save PayPal Rewards / Honey coupons / codes for points and checkout using PayPal for cash back, too, it was really less than that.
On my Roku, I rearranged the apps/channels such that near the top is Paramount+ Essential, normally $59.99/year, for which I paid $0/year as a WM+ member. Very near the top of Roku list is Hoopla Digital from one library e-card on this TV, with another library account on the LR TV. Ditto for Kanopy, but I much prefer Hoopla for the Acorn, Mhz, Masterpiece, etc. shows. With a Hoopla bingepass, you can stream Hallmark plus, for example, for 7 days at a time from your phone, pc, or tablet to your Chromecast or smart TV, so you'll want Hoopla Digital app on your phone, PC, or tablet, too.
I haven't yet figured out if I can stream shows through the Roku instead of through the Chromecast. I'd like to know if it's possible to do it that way...
Best wishes ⛄🎄☃
