He answered very vaguely, and corporate-speaky. I guess he can't say much.

@RafaelCarnietoCarvalho December 20, 2024 - 4:20 am

news?

Limited runs makes me sad.. They had Shantae for GBA, but it's already out of order.. I wish I could've played it. I'm a fan of the series.
I would suggest: Golden Sun – Sword of Mana – Summon Night Swordcraft Story 1&2 – Zelda Minish Cap.

So basically it's just an emulator with less options and costs money, pass.

@retroprogamer7009 December 20, 2024 - 4:20 am

Well guess this was a whole lot of nothing. Would have loved to get my hands on Tomba

According to some social media comments, carbon engine is trash.

@thewhyzer December 20, 2024 - 4:20 am

How is this particular engine saving retro gaming?

@barulicksama3838 December 20, 2024 - 4:20 am

Oh wow, an emulation! Instead of real remakesremasters.

@mushi1985. December 20, 2024 - 4:20 am

@user-curtisingreenville December 20, 2024 - 4:20 am

the audio track with this video is waaaaaaaay out of sync.

@collectthemall December 20, 2024 - 4:20 am

Carbon Engine is Retroarch's twin brother. If companies really want to show love and respect over classic games they must provide native ports and not emulators with fancy GUI. Yes, source codes for many classic games are lost but it never stopped fan comunities to reverse engineer retail product and provide native ports for modeen plarform. If someone is happy with Carbon Engine I don't mind , enjoy the game but I am not going to pay for pirated roms and emulator. If you think by buying this games you are supporting developes of the original games you are wrong. All your money is going right into the pocket of the copyright holder who probably was just a teenager when this games were developed.

@ThaDSman December 20, 2024 - 4:20 am

Why is this so out of sync for me?

@JohnDavidSullivan December 20, 2024 - 4:20 am

Englishman lol

@hyperiondragon December 20, 2024 - 4:20 am

what about licensing? That's the main question. Is nintendo gonna allow? Will all of them comapanies allow this? Or will it be likely to fall under a cease and desist order?

@DopenessFORlife December 20, 2024 - 4:20 am

It was so weird hearing RGT sound
so professional lol

@amic403 December 20, 2024 - 4:20 am

Does this video have anything to do with the audio?

@jakstrieder December 20, 2024 - 4:20 am

dose it work on PS5?
how do I get it on PS5?
how many of my ps1 and 2 games will it play?

@leonbrown7410 December 20, 2024 - 4:20 am

I’m just so happy some of these game. I’ve always wanted to play back in the day and never got a chance to play because they were all ways sold out.

@kingofcapp December 20, 2024 - 4:20 am

Except MVG is Australian not English. How can you not tell the difference in accents?

@borromeotlhs December 20, 2024 - 4:20 am

this guy just wholesale taking advantage of open source software and obfuscating it all behind 'engines'.

@2handsome398 December 20, 2024 - 4:20 am

Too bad the Jurassic Park release doesnt include the Genesis but alas licensing old software can be a nightmare.

@Concreteowl December 20, 2024 - 4:20 am

I think you'll find he is an Australian American and as English as Baseball.

@damientech88 December 20, 2024 - 4:20 am

We need a MiSTer emulator for Windows/Linux.

@gavincampbell4898 December 20, 2024 - 4:20 am

audio out of sync, cannot stand

@ThatRandomFastingGuy December 20, 2024 - 4:20 am

He's clearly Australian 😂

@ivandosio9826 December 20, 2024 - 4:20 am

They are selling an emulator with a rom over an enhanced API that makes it compatible with all platforms… they are just making cash on emulation… I wouldn't call that saving retro gaming.

@Auxodium December 20, 2024 - 4:20 am

favourite Englishman? Isnt he Aussie? :/

@jerrylees December 20, 2024 - 4:20 am

Maybe I missed something here…
"Retro games without roms" and "completely legal way" tells me this is yet another way for me to have to buy games I've already bought in several different formats.

@LuSanification December 20, 2024 - 4:20 am

This could be amazing to bring sega saturn 1st party games to steam and modern consoles… Imagine Panzer Dragoon Saga 😳

@shimmy1984 December 20, 2024 - 4:20 am

how is this different from emulation?

@pbjandahighfive December 20, 2024 - 4:20 am

How is this "saving" retro gaming? Haven't you ever heard of emulation? Almost every "retro" game ever made is fully playable and easily accessible with very little effort by the layman and even the most rickety low-value PC these days can play the majority of them excluding maybe the PS2/3 eras.

Regardless, Limited Run is trash.
