“Hanging onto a wildcard spot” fk you. I hate sports media so much, the team hasn’t been at full strength all year and have been like a top 10 team in the league all year. They’re fine. They need another top 4 d but that’s obvious ever since last year, especially now that hroneks out for a while

They have the offence provided the forwards are confident in defence and goal, goal looks good but D is slow and soft, making the offence a bit tentative.

Some toughness for Hughs, Miller and Garland would hurt either, go and get Big Z back, Shenn wouldn’t hurt for depth either.

Going to have to give up a lot for another puck moving D man that can complement Hughs and run PP 2.

Canucks are in win now mode until hughes either ages out or leaves, you trade assets to win now thats how hockey works.

Canucks also have several great prospects to fill roster spots for a good while to come. Canucks are not mortgaging their future when they are one of the youngest teams with younger guns on the way.

Canucks need to acquire two Top 4 D-men. Only then will the team “really” improve. Other than Hughes and Hronek. Everyone else is useless. As for a winger, lol. Why not trade Hoglander and aim for a D-man in return???!

No need for a trade, just move Deharnais for whatever. They talk about a top 4 Dman, but Hronek is out and once he is back, we will have Branstrom, Hronek and hughes who can move the puck. We got to stop making these bold one season trades. Zadorov was good, but he stayed one season. Lindholm didn't work, and once again, he was just a 1 season player. We can't keep trading away the entire future for players who stay one season.
