I still buy more PlayStation 2 games than modern games, and I’ll never stop playing PS2 games like it’s 2004. The games were made to provide the most value to me, as a player, rather than making ME the product. There’s still years and years’ worth of fun left in this console’s massive library, and I’m never giving it up.

And I had over 25 of them during its lifespan !!!
and many games released back then were graphically better than the PC versions like
GTA vice city and resident evil 4 the ps2 made a timeless permanent mark in the gaming world that offers a one of a kind experience and opens a unique world of gaming to anyone who is ready to explore
That fuccing Red Screen of Death! It was so unnecessarily terrifying lmao, moreso than any horror game imo
The one downside to these generations is that there isn't those totally immersive experiences like Fallout, the witcher, or red dead redemption which are some of my all time favorites.
