Is really disappointed that all the "aces" starting pitchers are gone already and the Mets signed Montas and Holmes for complete a "crap" rotation of: Senga, Peterson, Blackburn, Montas , Holmes for 2025..Probably the worst rotation in the NL..We failed against the Dodgers because the evident advantage of pitching, starters and relievers..Now looks that is getting late and Mr. Stearns lack to improve the pitching department..2025 will be a rough season for the Mets...

My wet dream after the Soto saga was Kyle Tucker & Garrett Crochet, they could have given up anybody but the top 2 pitchers with drafts in the next 5 years to restock.
Hopefully they are not pulling the trigger with the prospect because of Vladimir Guerrero Jr future trade?

Maybe on Framber Valdez, he's going to cost as much as Crochet and he's not woth anywhere near as much... If the Yankees can sign 2 good "BATS" along with the Max Fried & Devin Williams acquisition they might very well come out in a better situation by losing on Soto.

Mets need a #1 starter. Senga has pitched one year and is a question mark with durability at the moment. Mets must sign Alonso. Dodgers, Phillies, Atlanta, San Diego and Arizona all have 4 dangerous hitters . Then they have 2 to 3 good hitters. My point they need Alonso. Mets have to keep Jett Williams. He has Kirby Puckett potential. Drew Gilbert very dangerous . He can be moved for pitching. Brandon Sproat and Noah Tong i would like to hold on to. Everyone else is expendable. Baty, Ronny M, Acuna jr., etc..

Stearns really want to appear as being brilliant..he is very arrogant but tries to appear humble...as I said on another site, let them try to win with Soto and a few scrubs...why are they holding back Alonso? This is so disgusting!!!! They will occupy 3rd or 4th place in the east...May not even make the wildcard if they continue like this.!!! The Soto signing was just a massive waste unless they get some significant players..

Very wishful thinking but they needed to choose between Bregman now or Tucker next year. With Soto getting the $ he got Tucker became less likely. And they still need a 1b.

Bring in Mike Trout as a DH… He has 3 to 4 years left in the tank. I know he has been injury prone but I think he won’t have the pressure that he had with the Angels. Protects Soto and is a good veteran leader

Mets could sign him to a 4 even 5 year deal. I'd look into that since he just turned 31 and still have a few years left of pitching at a high level.
