This video seems to have exploded unexpectedly for me and I want to address the feedback.
The point of this video was to discuss the very broad revisions for a general consumer. If I had the money, resources and time I would hunt down all 16 motherboard revisions, study them and do a one hour long video. But sadly I don't. Plus I live in regional Australian, so everything isn't readily available for me.
I also didn't want to tackle the modding scene or development tool due to it being a grey area.
Having said that, I still appreciate anyone politely sharing anything I missed or any other interesting tidbits about the PS2 revisions. I've learnt a lot from you guys and appreciate you sharing information.

30000 is my favourite, no laser burn when loading backups. And it's perfect for modding.

The SCHP-9XXXX accepts 110 to 240V AC so it's also universal.

The Slim is the best for small spaces and people who don't care about having full PS1 compatibility or being able to load games from a hard drive on modded consoles, the "Phat" is better for people that care about PS1 compatibility and don't wanna use a disc drive or a usb drive connected to the slow usb 1.1 ports and instead want to use a hdd/SSD on their modded consoles

With the 70xxx series Sony left the hardware required for it to boot an internal hdd on the Motherboard. Hence, with some sottering u can add a hub to it.

I would recommend the PS2 FAT, most ps2 slim models have some game incompatibilities, missing hdd drive, and ps2 slims are rough on the discs center leading to the increased risk of the center of the disc cracking. Overall the only advantage to ps2 slim is its smaller and runs games a bit faster.

Sorry I didn't get all the way through your video yet but if all these are PlayStation 2 games don't they all play PlayStation 2 games so why did they make a revision of them so much every time

PS2 fat can be modded with HDD but PS2 slim can be modded with Mcboot memory card / sd card reader mod.

I’ve always thought of the slim more of a step back in design due to it resembling a ps1 more while the fat had an internal power supply and just looks more futuristic in my opinion

PS2 and PS4 are the best looking of all the models. The PS5 is a monstrosity. Its huge and looks like Seto Kaibas clothes.

My 70012 PS2 Slim is different than your 70000, it has a line, network, optical, AV multi out, and power jack in that order from left to right. Yours only has the network, optical, AV multi out, and power jack.

ok, you just showed the fisical difereces, how about softwere, hardware more ram less ram, more gpu less gpu, better laser? Those questions are what people what to know not the fisical that obvious... what video is this like people dont have eyes to see those diferences? come on man

Actually ps2 fat is more better becoz it has a expandable harddrive and ps2 fat does not scratch any of your disc and it has more cool design and ps2 slim has compatibility issue you cant play all ps2 games on it

The bests models are: Silver 50004 (fat) and Silver 70004 (slim), silver are quieter then others and equal to 90000(very silent we do not hear them) but the last is less compatible with hack...
