It's funny. In the real world (not Hollywood), 99.9% of people won't say anything to you if you are overweight or gaining weight. If they deem you too thin, or losing weight, they feel completely free to comment directly anytime. America adores thinness, especially in women. Then, wants to punish them when they go too far - meanwhile, secretly adoring and coveting with "thier concern".

Reading the book, "The Beauty Myth," was a profound and life changing thing that I highly recommend.

Coming from someone who’s extremely underweight who is afraid of eating anything and obsessive calorie/stress eating fasting life problems so many things that are attacking me health things it’s not easy to groan healthy weight without support I would need a vegan dietitian 🌱 😢

I respect the fact that she is against body shaming, but this is the woman who shame countless of overweight people with her comments after the donut scandal. She should recognise the wrongness of what she did, publicly, and then try to end body shaming.

I am gonna be honest with you. Some people might think I’m body shaming, but I come from a place of concern. I think these women are under extreme pressure through this movie and that they’re clothes in the custom outfits that you can see they’ve lost significant amount of weight. What’s concerning is to me I hope that there’s nothing going on in both of these women’s health has caused them to lose this way whether it’s mentally or physically but as long as you’re happy and you say you’re healthy then it’s none of my business really as a random person that doesn’t know you.

Those who use to bully me for my size were overweight. NOT thicc, NOT plump, NOT curvy. They were considered fat. They tried to intimidate me by "joking" they could have me flying with one push. They would ask me if I've eaten with disgust on their faces JUST TO LET IT SLIP OUT OF THEIR OWN MOUTHS, VERBATIM "I wish I was your size." and "You're so luck to be your size." People project their own insecurities. It's their problem not yours. If you hadn't come across their view, trust and believe looking in the mirror would be enough for them to hate themselves.

I don’t see it as body shaming. If you’ve had friends who has an ED you know the obvious signs - you just don’t want them to die. One of my friends was evidently hospitalized, but at that point, even with treatment, her body resembled that of a 90 year old woman - she had a heart attack and died. She was 27
