Sony has just sent out system software update 4.0 for the PS Portal, and not only did we get some quality of life fixes, but this also introduces a Cloud Streaming beta for PlayStation Plus Premium members. So as we were expecting, we can now use the Portal and stream PS5 games WITHOUT a personal PS5 console. So let’s connect to Sony’s servers and give this thing a test spin! And also talk about the beta’s existing perimeters. And then, we’ll also discuss why I had trouble rendering these files and had to splice them together awkwardly near the end. Just bought mine however the cloud streaming dosent work lol…. When I choose any game it tries to load then says something went wrong. Any ideas would be appreciated

I think putting your PS5 Pro on a reliable network and Internet will perform better than the PS Now network for now. At least you can solve the latency problem easily.

Imagine if you're able to download a particular game into the cloud memory which allows you to play without main ps5. This would be game changing

I believe sony will release a portal edge. This will sort out the analog issues.
Shame most of the games on the store are trash, the games u own should be available on store to play without needing ps5!

Not available in South Africa, and my experience on portal has been bad. Even on Ethernet 100mb up and 100mb down and disconnecting output on PS5. Until today when I replaced my Router to a TP link that support wifi6. Even though the portal only does wifi5. Now I love the Portal. Hoping for this feature to come to other countries
Loving the the update it says a lot for the future of this device only thing I can say and it’s super small but when turning off light bar and mute button brightness to just save all battery they should add a icon that says your mic is muted
So If I’m playing Marvel Spider-Man two on my ps5 then if I log onto the game catalog and stream it on the ps p will I be restarted into a new game or will I be playing from where I left off on my PlayStation five

Only giving something to premium members is diabolical..at least give less to the other 2 tiers..smh
