As I recently found out, Total War Warhammer III is essentially a DLC. If you don’t own I and II, you are only allowed to play like 2-3 nations. Everything that was in WH I and II will be locked if you don’t own it.
I swear even Paradox DLC policy is less exploitative

It's good to see someone showing Spellforce 3 some love, it's a shame the launch was so terrible (which is why it didn't catch on). They did a great job fixing all the issues.

impossible creatures is the 3rd best RTS i have ever played..

The concept is so amazing.. I wish they would make a sequel and set it in the future where instead of humanity fighting each other we bring combo animals to be our soldiers. could easily have 4 or 5 'factions' and present balanced armies and a cool intertwining campaign of like 25 to 30 missions.

Call to Arms - Gates of Hell, and Warno on Steam, and Beyond All Reason. None of those are in your list, but I've played RTS for 30 or more years and these are the best to me.

Nexus The Jupiter Incident
This is a game I have replayed more than a dozen of times on hard difficulty.
Each mission feels like a Battlestar Galactica episode on television.
There's only two missions I don't like in the game, both missions require stealth nav point pathing with the Angelwing.
I just love the achievement of crippling enemy capital ships by (laser) burning all their shield generators, engines, weapons, and other subsystems.
There's also a fleet formation mechanic that allows firing a capital super-cannon.
Also, ever heard of the weapon; Overload Energy Bomb or Anti-Matter Torpedoes? They are great for taking down gigantic Fortress Shield generating ships.

Rise of Nations is a great game - recently went back and played it again - have 30 hours in last few weeks for a game from 20 years ago

Act.of.war.is one of the greatest rts I'd ever played. Taking prisoners of war, soldiers pipelining out black hawks. Awesome game and the storyline was ace. Wish they would make more of them

Thank god i already own the ones i would buy :) . The only one id try would be planetary annihilation, but i think SupCom FA with FAF mod is good enough for me.
