IMPORTANT***
I don't know if I had the wrong info or if there was an update to the pricing I wasn't aware of, but the Unity pricing in the video is incorrect, here's the corrected info:
If you upgrade to Unity 6, as mentioned, you'll need to upgrade from Unity personal to Unity Pro is you make more than $200k.
BUT…the runtime Fee/2.5% (lower of) only kicks in when BOTH of these conditions have been met:
1 – you have made $1M in 12 month-trailing revenue, AND
2 – 1,000,000 initial engagements.
Apologies for the error in the video, here's the source:

Hey thanks so much for this, I just wanted to know if you or someone could tell me, I notice a lot of unity and Gadot games are very low poly, is this because of limits with the engines or can you still make higher poly games on them in stylised themes etc I'm not talking AAA graphics but maybe close to league of legends/Runescape 3 graphics thanks heaps
7:27 boring no i would love i'm so excited to become a game developer i want to learn everything from that
Also I can't draw i leave drawing to professionals
I would never pick an engine from a dev/company that says they take money from me IT'S MINE MONEY DAMMIT
Thank you so much!
I can not recommend it , DONT become a game dev you wont get a job and wont make any money. Its a friendly advice
or you can pirate photo shop, adobe doesent care and is super easy
Thanks mate, now Im the lead designer working on portal 3.
i wonder how much genshin impact need to pay unity, since they got billions of money
Hello Guys §
I’ve bought a few tutorials 😂
Could you just PLEASE ONCE TALK ABOUT WHAT KIND OF A PC AND WHAT SPECS ON IT ONE WOULD EEN NEED TO MAKE 3D GAMES WITH?
Ik you coukd just say that "ooh the Pc Specs DoN't MaTtEr…" as many do…
BUT IT DOES INDEED MATTER,ESPECIALLY FOR 3D MODELING,ANIMATIONS,VIDEI EDITING AND SO MUCH MORE…
so…WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE RECOMMENDED TO SOMEONE TO LOOK FOR IN A PC TO EVEN BE ABLE TO DO SOME OF THE MORE DEMANDING TASKS FOR THE GAME DEVELOPMENT???
Asking bc. I have an 12 year old FX3600 Pc that had started showing it's spirit giving up and I'd have LOVED to buy a new PC that could even open Unity,UE or even Godot, let alone BE ABLE TO ENDURE BLENDER,3D ANIMATIONS and such…bc. I'd have loved to work on an 3d game but don't know what parts would be useful to look for in a pc to be able to do any of the more demanding tasks…
Just PLEASE…I'm asking because NO GAME DEV GUIDE ON YOUTUBE EVER CARED TO EVEN MENTION ANYTHING ABOUT ANY BUILD,EVEN THOUGH IT SHOULD MATTER MORE,SINCE EVERYTHING'S DONE ON THE PC AND THE PARTS THEMSELVES…
Thank you for your sharing.
good road map
So I just downloaded Godot but it’s just files not an engine or anything what do I do EDIT I just figured it out lol
I've been in professional game dev for almost 10 years now and one of the easiest game types you can make from the get-go would be something similar to the "I'm On Observation Duty" series.
There's not much to them. Static cameras, no pawns to control, but you'll be learning about how to craft systems to react to what the player does, or how long the player has gone without reporting an issue in rooms, rather than the itty bitty pieces of how to move a character forward. Once you've dived into something like this and get an understanding of how your chosen engine works, then you can spread your wings a bit more with animation/art/controlling pawns in certain ways.
Thanks bro, I'm now working on Minecraft 2
Sorry but I had to stop watching when you said that Unreal you are going to be working mostly with BPs… this is quite incorrect.
No one word about Game Maker Engine, but show the game, that was made with it to promote Unity, Godot and UE? Really?
When you say learn 2 or 3 tutorials do you mean 2 or 3 game tutorials? Or just like tutorials that show the interface and what not
Isn't asebrite better for 2d?
thank you for the help, i'm was lost, now a have a old notebook and one way haha
