Whilst looking for a pressed disc copy of, the newly fan translated Sakura Wars, I bumped into these Sega Saturn Reproduction. I thought it would be interesting to so how good/bad these reproduction games are. The game I bought are Battle Garegga and Kyukyoko Tiger II plus (also known as Twin Cobra 2).

We are taking a close look at the OBI, disc and inlay printings and I make a final conclusion. I’ve tried to stay away from the morality part of this and just look at the quality. Of course in any case, an original copy is always the coolest thing to have. But I like to speak to each their own individual morality to make decisions they feel comfortable with.

20 bucks but it still does the job ,but 3 for 20 sounds better .

I think they make them incase you can't afford the real copy and just want to play the game itself.

The main question is why are you buying repros? I'm not a collector, but I like Saturn games. I'm a real person and $20 or so for a video game is actually realistic. It's a light hobby. I just have a Saturn and 37 games for it.

etsy has gone and removed all the sellers of repros... which sucks... because I cannot afford 300 dollar games on ebay, guess I just emulate and chuck my consoles?

Stop fronting, the art is identical besides the working design art. The printers today are far superior to those in the 90s. It’s all in the paper

Some saturn games have significantly gone up in price. They sell for about less than $20, to me its totally worth it. Dont be expecting original title quality, but as long as they look ok, and play fine. I am happy

And they turn out to be generic shooters... Nice overall though
