I bought 5 beelink SER 7s and started a new small business idea where I bring a small 4 person LAN to a bar, stream it on Twitch with the 5th PC and give away prizes. Can run LAN games like Halo Infinite at 60 FPS with a little scaling. Also, with emulation you can do all kinds of stuff. I can link the machines to play all kinds of 4 player games. Dolphin works really great for MarioKart where everyone has their own screen.

I will only buy MiniPCs now... Minisforum has one with a 7950X and a 7600M XT for ~$1100... I want to wait for a Halo model...

The Minisforum UM780XTX is selling for a pretty decent price right now and has Occulink for real eGPU support. Plus, the Radeon 780m will play nearly everything from 2022 and earlier (FSR needed for some titles) without issue and anything pre-2020 at 1080/1440p without issue.

I have bought 8 of these and have had issues with the hardware and the company.
I like the lower power and the simple box, so I will be getting more Minis from a different manufacturer.

I have a mini pc with AMD 6800h 8c/16t with Vega, I have used it for all sorts. It's been used in hotels and at home for work/games/movies and for the last 6 months or so it's been hosting 15 game servers for various games. I got it from Amazon for £350 before the prices jumped up so it was a bargain.

Just want a mini PC with CAMM support that has a Ryzen 390. For like 6 or 799 barebones.

They are for casual use not gaming, not heavy demand. Perfect for mom or grandma.

These are perfect for trailing edge games that you buy off the bargain rack.

Bruh,…… this hurts my heart 😢.

How do you have wires hanging from your mounted TV. Have you no shame, grab a cable raceway kit and hide those wires. 🤦🏾‍♂️

The other advantage to find PC over console is the cost of games.
I get free games on a regular basis for the PC and the ones I do buy are usually on some ridiculous sale at steam. Console games for the switch are more expensive, nevermind PlayStation and Xbox.

The issue with these mini PC is they are extremely expensive for their specs. Though it's size is good for using on TV, they are not as ideal to use on a TV. A PC by definition is not a computer connected to the TV, the word personal refers to a single user at a desk and that is what PC and windows are designed around along with keyboards and mice and using these things on the TV runs into issues. I would say these would be better than a laptop because laptops have the power button under the lid and also some times you will turn it on and the image will come through the laptop and not the TV and so you have to get out a keyboard to press (Windows key + P) to fix it. So at least it's better than a laptop I guess. I would deffo make sure it's compatible with an external GPU.
