Play with Poweramp (HD out)
Typing this on an LG v40 and I also have an LG v50 and V60 when this one dies.
The only downside to using my iPhone is, of course, the lack of expandable storage. Not too bad since I’m not carrying my entire library with me anyways.
It's simple.. PAY hard earned $$ for OFF line Hi-res Play, but ON-LINE license confirmation is required EVERY time the app is started?!? HOW do I get MY$$ back!?!? Not to mention a "root tweak" that still requires "active"Google play store to function that you don't find out about until you PAY and install.
Food for thought..
Camping
Underground parking
subways
Multi level shopping malls
ABSOLUTE WASTE OF MONEY.
A Hi-Res DAP is far cheaper long term! period.
Paying for LIES!
What do You think about HD pleyers... Like HiBy R5 Gen 2 ?
I kept the Onyx and fell in love with it. The clarity and sparkle it provided was beautiful, whereas my Cobalt Blue had problems with the bass bleeding into the midrange. I use the Onyx almost daily.
Or is it more about using the mobile phone as the streaming controller while indoors, in which case surely using the mobile device to 'deliver' the audio is not the best bet anyway. I use Volumio on a Pi3, connected to a DAC to my audio system indoors and use my mobile phone purely to control what song to play. Outdoors, I use my mobile to listen to music for enjoyment of the music but not as an audiophile experience, expecting all the noise and interference in the world.
