y'know, i'd like it if the FPS wasn't absolute dogshit. like apparently, people with 4090s aren't getting above 50fps all settings max

Played the prototype already
The game does look good, but I've got a few gripes with it
1) I understand that UE5 allows for some stunning visuals, but the devs have to really work on optimisation. There's nothing groundbreaking in this 10 minute prologue in terms of graphics, yet I barely get 40 fps on low settings
2) The sounds and animations feel kinda wonky. The shotgun lacks impact, the pistol is way too glossy, and the physics and collision of props straight out break at some points. It's gonna be a major issue if they don't fix it, since interactive environment is a major part of gameplay
Overall, I'm very curious about what they're making, but it's far from perfection at the current state of things. I hope the devs accept feedback in some way, the issues have to be adressed

This level in the original HL2 was the first time a game actually scared the sh*t out of me.
