With the PlayStation 5 Pr’s launch last week, it’s becoming more apparent that the console is more than talk. Sony’s PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution, advanced ray tracing, and stronger GPU have begun making waves in many PS5 titles.
The jury is still out on whether it’s worth upgrading. However, if you’re brand new to the console (and have $700 to drop on it), what are some of the most noteworthy titles to play on it? There are the usual suspects, like Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, Horizon Forbidden West, Alan Wake 2 and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.
However, if you have an 8K display, it may also be worth checking out Gran Turismo 7 and F1 24 since they both leverage the console’s experimental 8K resolution mode in interesting ways. Check out all the other noteworthy PS5 titles running on the Pro and how they benefit from the console’s power.

Thumbnail says 15 games actual video only shows 10 lol
Ps5pro is the best console ever made. Not having to choose between fidelity or performance, 4k 60-120 with vrr is mind blowing.
Alan Wake II has big problems with the PSSR upcaling, with annoying artifacts, that isn't there on the OG PS5. PSSR works better with games, that already runs at high native resolution. But in games, like Alan Wake II, which hovers around 860p, PSSR doesn't work well.
Feels like they still got some work to do, before PSSR really shines.
Too bad you can't switch over to FSR, or some other upscaler, in those games…
🔥🔥🔥💯
My Final Fantasy VII rebirth is the most amazing😊
Dragon's Dogma 2 is one of the most improved games regarding base PS5 vs Pro. The resolution and detail are substantially increased, and the extra power and PSSR elevate the frame rate in many cases if not to 60 fps at least in VRR range when it would have been a stuttering mess on the base PS5. It's not technically perfect on Pro by any means, but this game has never been that on any platform. The difference between base PS5 and Pro are among the biggest differences, and it belongs on this list.
I thought Stellar Blade already looked pretty good and ran acceptably on the base PS5 most of the time, but the upgraded hardware is significant and makes it look and run even better.
Not getting one even on paper launch.
PS5 Pro is 45% GPU increase, but they are charging 80% more on price compared to a regular PS5 with a disc drive…that math doesnt add up 😂
SAME OLD GAMES, i don't care until a new exclusive or gta 6 comes out
This is what ps5 should have ben .kind of sad cause u need pro to make this gen seem new and fresh
Game science are still hanging out and swimming in a pool full of money that they haven’t enhance the poor monkey. At least it didn’t stuttered as much but still stutters in performance mode with A.I scaling. The others mode for me were unplayable thanks to the camera movement it looks lag-ish”acid to my eyes”
ElAnalistaDeBits is pronounced “El” with an L as in “El Salvador”
need PS5 Pro enhanced games build from the ground up. not games that already exist getting an enhance patch🤨
Real shame not having pepa pig on the list game looks absolutely stunning on PS5 pro.
Hogwarts Legacy is even more beautiful in HFR Performance mode. 4K 120FPS.
Not having stellar blade on here is a crime
Is just it just me or does the wifi suck on the Pro? It will fail connect even though I'm just like 10 feet away from router.
Yeah no
What about Stellar Blade or Black Myth Wukong?
It doesn't matter how good the image is the games are still crap. Going back to remaster to sell😂😊
I know Days Gone hasn't been enhanced for the Pro yet, but I've been playing it on the Pro… and I think it stands toe to toe with Horizon Forbidden West and The Last of Us Part 2. It looks like it was made for the Pro. The developers that made Days Gone were way ahead of their time and Days Gone is still my favorite game on the Playstation.
Stellar Blade should be number 1
It's a shame Demon Souls isn't on here. Game is so pretty now and runs without flaw. Really has been a flawless experience.
And I hear Stellar Blade is mind blowingly better.
Not Pro patched, but Remnant 2 runs great now.
I just wish Bloodborne saw at least a little bit of improvement. Its still choppy even on the ps5 pro.
Great, a bunch of old games everyone had already played. Who cares? Where's the new games?
Agree with most games. Alan wake 2 has some serious shadow rendering issues still on the pro. Greasy shimmering shadow areas. Looks bad. As for the frame rate mode. Waste of time. No diff to the base ps5. Not sure what the developers have down to enhance it at all ?
None of these games make the most of the consoles power. They make the most of their developers capabilities in the software they already produced.
I think this video is disingenuous. Because games already look good on the base PlayStation 5 and the changes that they made are small that you literally have to trick yourself and to believe in the performance is much better because the human eye we'll probably not really see. The subtle differences save your money and wait for a sale.If you have to get a pro
I feel like if you have to pause the game, put them side by side with the previous console and squint to notice a difference its going to be a hard sell for the asking price
