Max Verstappen has delivered a masterclass of a drive in Brazil where he managed to win from P17, even though a couple of cars ahead of him didn’t start the race and Sainz opted to start the event from the pit lane—effectively meaning he gained three positions before the start of the race. Be that as it may, a massive gamble has paid off for the Dutchman, and Norris doesn’t seem to accept the fact that in Formula 1, when you go against one of the greatest to ever do it, situations like this are what you have to be afraid the most of. But is this the drive that sealed his championship, and if so, will it go down as one of the greatest championships in the world?

All commentators and pundits (in fairness, not only the useless SkyF1 staff) have proclaimed for decades that rain is the great leveller when it comes to car performance. So, if this was level….what does it actually say about Max’s skill level? If the media is to believed (to what will be SkyF1 eternal regret in hindsight )….does that not mean a dutchman is so massively ahead ahead of the rest that its almost not even really the same sport ? Damon Hill looked to be in utter shock and horror after the race. I suppose he’ll be in the stewards box soon with Herbert and the McLaren heir….because the F in FIA is for Fair, right?
Why are the media 'hell bent' on destroying Checo's natural ability to win races?
Fact! If the red Bull team gave him a race winning car, like they did last year, he would easily help them win the WCC & get P2 in the WDC.
As for Lawson, he has chosen not to be a team player by needlessly and dangerously racing against the senior team which has cost both teams a very large number Championship points and excessive car repair costs.

A lot of the Herbert things are a bit exaggerated, as Max supporter I would say the second 10s in Mexico was justified. But Herbert did definitely show bias in three instances: 1) the fucked remark and community sentence vs the fuck remark by Leclerc in a WAY more watched press conference. 2) the first penalty for Max in Mexico was just hard racing. 3) Herbert needs to look deep in the mirror and admit he would’ve given Max a WAY worse punishment for what Lando did at the aborted start.
What makes the Mexico punishments worse is that it 10s is the standard. Lando should’ve been given 10s in Austin.
No luck with the red flag just common sense max knew it would come and that is the difference between talent and just luck

There's no alternative to the free stop rules. Imagine if you're 20s in the lead and the guy behind you pits and comes out 40s behind you. But then red flag. Now, the restart is a standing start so the 20s gap you had is erased. But the guy behind you is pitted, so effectively HE GOT A FREE PIT STOP. On top of that, he has new tires so he can get a better launch and overtake you down to T1. Meanwhile, you STILL HAVE TO PIT! Which takes another 20s. So you go from 20s in the lead to 20s BEHIND for a total loss of 40s on track due to the red flag. is that really any better? And you have no choice in the matter in this scenario. But right now, you have the choice to not pit and extend, expecting a red flag. So at least there is some potential for strategy. Without free pit stops during the red flag, there is 0 potential for strategy. You can just lose 40s on track just like that…
