1. If you want Mayfield to grow you can’t change his OC again. 2. I think Bill at 74 or whatever is done coaching. No time to rebuild or even reload. 3. Bill would want his own OC I just don’t see bill happening

No no , if Bill comes in as DC yes . But Coen is my new head coach . If you let Coen walk to another team you will see a lot of the fan base being upset . Look at the offensive team stats . We are of the first time in 10 years . Top 10 in rushing . We can still score with our two top scoring weapons being out .

This will never happen. Liam Coen would get the job way before Bill Belichick would. On top of that, why risk losing another OC by hiring a defensive minded coach as your head coach. Offensive minded head coaches are the way of the NFL nowadays, just look at the majority. To add to that, Coen is capable of being a head coach a lot longer than Bill Belichick. The problem with this - and I say this as a Bucs fan - is not even what Bill would want, but what will happen with Liam Coen. If the choice is between promoting Coen to HC or losing him to another team, I’m certain the Bucs would choose Coen over Bill - as they should. And since every passing week only makes Coen look better, I just can’t see it happening with Bill. (Unless for some reason Coen doesn’t want a HC job; then I guess it’s possible he stays on at OC with Bill brought in for discipline and defense.)

Even if Bill comes to Tampa he would want 100% control over the team, I have no doubt he can fix the defense but Jason Licht will not surrender GM duties to Bill. If Bowles is gone I can see Coen being promoted but no matter what, Coen has to stay.
