If you want performance buy a gaming PC. No $700 dollars on a console without disc drive and without base no thank you. In addition to that while the PlayStation charges more for online services than game pass and does not include games day 1. Sony gamers paying $70 dollars for call of duty while Xbox has it included in the service. Sony PlayStation is simply a bad business for gamers, and they love to lie about their specs look at the super-fast SSD in plantation 5. Is all bull.

I'm excited, Monster Hunter Wilds is getting PS5 Pro enhancements and it should run the game really well and look amazing to boot based on the beta we just had.
Some CPU, Same RAM, barely more powerful than the Series X, for $700… Sony is trying to be Apple and catering to suckers. Xbox's next system will again embarrass Playstation in games and power.

I’m just having light fun. For all the complaining people have gone on and on about the price of this. You’re actually getting a lot of console here for not a lot of money. £700 is steal.
I never understand why console flout how much tflops they have. The specs tell you what power it has, the tflops all it is a measure of much information it’s processing. What matters is the CPU inside (that what computing all of the information) that’s what you care about.

The PS5 Pro should be backwards compatible with physical disks going back to the PS1. Hobbyists in their spare time got PS1-3 emulation working really well, and PS4 emulation is advancing rapidly. There’s no excuse for the lack of backwards compatibility (the base PS5 should’ve had that feature day one, and should’ve been added part way into the PS4’s lifecycle).
Real life dual-issue performance increase is about 25%
There are different ways to count teraflops it is 33 flops in one method they used when leaking it originally and 16.7 is the other method

And I don't think there's gonna be much difference between the pro and the series X the pro will have more Ray tracing and then maybe a little bit higher resolution but probably hold the frame rate a lot better
I, for one, am looking forward to the ps5 pro. I traded my ps5 and X toward the pro, so I'm not out a ton of money. I still have my pc for xbox games, so my gaming bases are covered.
