I find it much easier to just use a pick and pluck every time, so as a beginner I’d recommend it

for anyone who has trouble pulling off from the 5 and 8 could bar down the top 2 strings (e and a) on the 5th fret and and do picking instead

I'm finally playing at 130 bpm quite confidently, but it still sounds super slow - about half speed.

Am I supposed to do 0, 4, 0, 5 all within one beat?
