Poorly organized and demonstrated review. Could have used the ten minutes much better. Not even looking at an included solo mode in this expansion is a major oversight, and frankly an incomplete review. I suggest someone else at Dice Tower do this expansion justice.
never like this designer, pass
This is kind of a no brainer if you have the base game as it’s a pretty good price for 12 new realms as opposed to buying promo packs separately. I agree with Joey that RR rewards multiple plays as you learn all the nuances of each realm and then the fun comes with all the variability. I have quite a few roll/flip and writes, but RR is super combo-tactic and the variability of the realms helps it not feel same-y. Just to note- I believe Stonemeier has said that they are winding down releasing so many promo packs and are only sticking with Stonemeier titles moving forward.
The solo mode in this is absolutely fantastic, it emilates a sports league and has become my go to lunchtime game. Strongly recommend it.
We love this game, the realms in this one are quite good and being able to hold all of our realms in one box is really nice. We were running out of space in the base game box! The variety of realms is a huge draw for us, at this point we have around 40 realms at this point, so the game always feels fresh.
