Original camera modes (fixed and angles) are good (at that time) but i prefer the camera that follows the player for remakes so players can experience what the character is seeing and can view/explore the surroundings in their own view and appreciate the details and hardwork the developers put into the game

I like where this is going, but the whole game needs to be darker. The darkness should be so thick and oppressive that even the flashlight only offers minimal comfort and reliabiliy. The darkness is supposed to surround Harry like a tight hug almost, forcing him to rely on other heightened senses over just sight to navigate through the many dangers that lurk in the fog and darkness. Its going in the right direction but the environment could also be a little grittier. I feel like this is starting to feel more RE than SH. There were key subtleties that made the two so different, and creators should really pay close attention to those subtleties, rather than just focus on modernizing the graphics. There is a SH "feel" that is missing here. I would take this as a prototype template and tweak it a bit to add the subtleties that made Silent Hill stand out compared to anything else in its genre.

its weaker than original one! old camera with modern graphic is not a good idea. also they work on character design less than environment

i think this is not silent hill. There is no light or lamp in silent hill except from Harry's flashlight

It looks more like a remaster. Since it retains the old mechanics of the original SH1, but I like what I see.

it looks good but the movement is really weird and goofy looking and the face of the main character just doest fit the original
