Red dead redemption 2….
Shadow of Destiny/Memory for the PS2 was pretty fun with its multiple endings. Since the game revolved around time travel, each conclusion was essentially a different multiversal outcome for the events. But not only that, you would be informed of which scenes you had already seen with a flashing symbol to skip them, and your knowledge as the player could be used to change certain outcomes that may have stumped you originally. A particular example involves saving a lady from a tragic fate that was seemingly impossible to stop as you had to make a very specific set of choices to save her, and this in turn allowed you access to endings that would otherwise not be obtainable otherwise. It didn't have any combat, and the puzzles were often pretty simple, even for a Konami game during the era of their moon logic puzzles in Silent Hill, but it was a pretty fun mystery-adventure title, one that I would love see get remake, as the fictional town of the game was rather pretty looking, even if it was a mostly empty PS2 world, hahahahaha…
Dead Island 2 recently was added more to this list.
Tormented Souls and Stray Souls without a doubt since each has 3 different decision based endings based on how you choose at a certain point.
Resistance: Fall of Man, what a game, I must've completed it at least 3 times in co-op. You actually felt like you were experiencing a war in that game
Correction for Armored Core VI. There are three endings. And the third is only unlocked on your third playthrough and you should have got the other two endings as well.
What about Max Payne 2? You unlock the true ending ONLY if you play through the game for the second time.
RE2 info is a little off. Birkin on the elevator is the final main boss for Claire regardless of run, and Mr. X the final main boss for Leon. Birkin on the train is the only new boss for either 2nd run, and is shared between them. The information you gave is actually true of the original, not the remake.
the dragon age series is very replayable
First game that sprang to mind seeing this was Oxenfree and I was expecting seeing it on your list. Can't believe you missed it!
Sonic games
One of Sonic's main uniqueness is high replayability
NieR: Automata, anyone?
EDIT: Never mind, it's an honourable mention. 😂😂
NO NIER AUTOMATA??????
Starting my 2nd Alan Wake 2 today
Parasite Eve 2 would be a good game for an older game version of this list.
Nier Automata and any Dark anthology games.
No words for infamous? Play it once as a good guy then replay it as a bad one
Does Gotham Knights count here where you have to play FOUR different times to get all the story or not as you have to change characters?
nier automata?
How is Dishonoured 1 & 2 on this list?!?
KOTOR 1 & 2 Jedi vs Sith playthrough is great too!
RDR2 should be on this list. First play through you want to see where the story goes so you miss so many of the side missions and other stuff
Definitely, Nioh 1&2! The games pretty much just start after completing your first playthrough when it comes to completing and defining your build and optimizing your gear
infamous Second Son is a worth mention with the bad karma or good karma that give two completely different playthroughs.
What about scarlet nexus?
I haven’t even played any of these once. Not my genres. Lol
Front mission 3 had two completely different routes were you fight for different factions in many escenarios. Truly revolutionary for a ps1 game
I feel like I speak for everyone, even if they haven't thought about it yet, but…
Can you change the transition screens to flip the colors, have a black background with white letters
So many times you'll show a dark game, then transition to an absolute flashbang on my eyes
Haven’t watched, but Armored Core 6 needs to be played 3 times
You joking? Where is NieR: Automata??? The plot progresses only replaying the game!
sorry for beeing late to the party, pathfinder wrath of the righteous has almost to many classes and different endings depending on your choises.
Nier Automata should've been here and in the top 5.
What game is in the thumbnail?
Nier replays are such a mind F, they change everything. Is it worth it to get the true, true, TRUE ending? Debatable.
Alan Wake 2's Final Draft is so good that I happily went through it and got 100%. I love that game despite what they did to Saga.
I loved the resistance franchise
Can't believe NieR isn't on this list.
You have to play through it 4 times to get the real ending wherein the main character sacrifices himself to save the ones he loves and the game itself will delete your save file erasing him from existence! It's cool and meta!!!!!
RDR 2 for me I rushed my gameplay the first time I played it blindly
I'm a big Gameranx fan but i feel the lists have been lacking just a bit lately…. Here are some ideas for you guys.
1. 10 worst games to play when tired
2. 10 highest grossing games of 2024
3. 10 games YOU NEED to play with a controller
4. 10 most competitive games of 2024
5. 10 MOST SATISFYING games to play
6. 10 Games with the best audio
7. 10 best video game characters of 2024
Just to name a few, i hate to complain and not have a solution. Keep up the good work!
Been gaming for 40 years. Literally never bothered with a NG+. I don’t feel like I’m missing out. So many games to play.
All the metal gear games would be on my list
Half-Life 2 has a developer mode kinda like a director commentary. You can select signposts that prompt a comment from the devs about game design decisions.
my bacc log on ps5 already crazy i have ghost of T over a yr and still havent even played it
No Fire Emblem 3 Houses is criminal in my books. Still great video as always!
The broom closet ending is my favorite!
Breath of Fire Dragon Quarter must be played twice or more to be fully experienced due to story content and new areas being unlocked as one increases Ryu's D-Ratio (which is done by finishing various challenges then winning the game).
