Match Review – A somewhat weird game against Chelsea ends 1-1. A fairly typical game for United. Some good some bad. Very questionable in game decisions, but taking the point. Why we need Amorim to “break the model” for the first time.

I tnink Rashford have lost a bit of pace actually. Think it makes him very limited. I would cash in on him. I want him and United to get back and Like Rashford before people kill me.
I really used to enjoy your videos but you are so far off it with your views on these players. They score goals against Leicester reserves and Barnsley and that’s a lot of these players level.
Why does rashford keep getting moved? Maybe because he's the most senior attacker and should be better able to adjust than a youth player who is being relied on too much and rashford output isn't good enough

1. Garnacho is really going to be something when he matures in his decision making. He has such raw ability and talent but elite players take their chances. He isnt the finished article. People should remember this (including the coaching staff)
2. 4-1-4-1 build up leaves Case in miles of space and he really is dreadful in open field defensively. RVN and team have got to not put him in thos position.
3. Dalots drop off has been pretty auprising in recent weeks. Concerning for sure.
4. Cole palmer who? Pretty unimpressed in this game. Baller for sure but chelsea should be looking for more out of him.
5. Sancho doesnt make the team. Got a chuckle how 12 months ago there would have been gallons of ink spilled in the press when its United. When its Chelsea nobody cares. Freaking circus
I was hoping ruud was going to try something different to showcase his coaching qualities but it looks like these games will be meaningless fillers. Disappointing
Apart from legs ugarte doesn’t do anything better than casemiro we honestly waste soo much money even if he somehow becomes decent it will never be worth 60😵💫
When u put it in perspective Garnacho is a very bad player but this is the guy rashford is battling with and he’s 27 finally we have a 72 million signing in hojlund who is no where near Lukaku’s level who was heavily ridiculed overall this is the worst attack we’ve had in the prem era

Bit disappointed that the only thing RVN has changed is the double pivot. Same style, same problems, same weird insistency that Garnacho has to be our main goal threat at LW? Guess you're right about interims rarely changing much except for a little more freedom and positivity. Cannot wait for Amorim to come in!
When I watched Spurs highlights the biggest difference was they weren’t trying shoot from every angle when cutting in – the ball was going into the box and they got bodies in there. Utd get Garna and Rash hitting from every angle under the sun and Rasmus feeding on scraps.
Thought we were harder to break down today. Not as much of a basketball game as it has been in the last 18 months.
Garnacho doesn’t look like a starter.
His attacking positioning is really good to be fair but his decision making is incredibly bad. It’s like he’s doing whatever he can to score a goal himself rather than creating for the team. I don’t think he even realizes how bad he was today…

I agree about the need to change the system. The 4231 system has been a disaster for us for years. We were just copying what other teams were doing.
Switching to 343 at least gives us a chance to be different and start rebuilding fresh.

Garnacho is very simply being overplayed. He is a great prospect but it is common for young players to have ups, downs and injuries. There is a very select tier of young player that can be played the amount Garnacho is being and that is justified – it is the tier of Wayne Rooney (gamebreaker at 16) and more recently, Lamine Yamal. Garnacho is awesome but not at that level. Give the lad a rest and take him out of the firing line

It's funny James can't blame ETH and he doesn't want to call out Rudd poor coaching methods. And he thinks Amorin will solve the Fwds inability to score goals or even pass on time.

I'm not sure what people expected with RVN, he's a "caretaker" manager, he's there to keep them warm, not to change anything.
Ruben will sort out the decision making. That will instantly improve our game.
Rashford & Garnacho both want to play in the left, so he let's them take turns. I don't like it but you can't say it makes "no sense".
So disappointed with Garnacho in this game. He fluffed a lot of really good chances. I'm certain Amad would have scored at least half of those. We should have won this game. Disappointed with the point. I think Chelsea were poor and there for the taking.
None of our attackers make it into a top 4 team,can blame the managers as much as you want,but we have a below average attack
It's hard to read into anything we see until Ipswich away. It's more about getting 'decent' results. Performances won't be of any importance!
at least we give Ruud credit for not conceding many chances which was a problem under Ten Hag. Plus he's slowly weaning the team off of their bad habits. A radical change would make the team confused and he also has to look after his career. This interim period whether we like it or not might define his career options
The good thing about Garna is that he never drops his head, tries and tries. Thats a great quality to have. But if he has more rhan a moment to think about what he wants to do, he makes the wrong call almost always. So badly needs some coaching. There is a player there for sure

Our attack sucks so much. Garnacho needs to be benched for a couple of gameweeks or to be coming in to games later on. Rashford and Mazraoui were good for a while in the 1st half but then Rashford switched wings and Garnacho was just not it today on both wings. Casemiro was right to complain to Garnacho, he was having a stinker.
Mazraoui was so brilliant. He just showed how low our technical levels are. We still mostly treat the ball like a hot potato. Mazraoui was so cool and calm under pressure.
The team needs to have its technical floor raised. Amad needs to play more and I'm not sure what to do about Zirkzee.
The system won’t matter if players can’t make good decisions and execute them properly. Or can put in the effort for an entire match. The basics are missing, the culture is wrong. Amorim has his work cut out for him, and anyone expecting an immediate uptick in performance is going to be disappointed. There’s basically too many bad attitudes and not enough quality in this team.
No word of a lie, when Bruno scored that penalty I said we’ll concede by the 74th minute. The team is that predictable.
