En 5 years Soto will be the 1b and Pete will be the DH

You can sign 2 of Santander, Alonso, or Hernanadez for what you are going to have to pay for Soto.

I would like Alonzo back he is also a very underrated defensive player and I'm hoping McNeil can have a comeback season if he comes back.

As far as Soto he can help but defensively he is not good enough to play right field in Citi he will eventually be the DH I don't know if he is willing to be the DH or has what it takes to come off the bench

This guy doesn't know what he is talking about. He is just regurgitating storylines. The Mets won because of their offense. They were aggressive and ambushed teams all season long they just bludgeoned teams. The pitching was ok what made them successful was a plethora of left-handers in the starting rotation. And a strikeout pitcher in severino. It was a good mix. As far as the bullpen losing Smith was a huge blow which is what cost them

The perfect off-season would be Soto, Alonso, Tanner Scott, journeyman starters on short-term contracts, and one BIG BLOCKBUSTER TRADE SENDING BATY, PARADA, ALEX RAMIREZ and a player to be named later for MASON MILLER TO CREATE ONE OF THE GREATEST BULLPENS OF ALL TIME!
