They will redo it but I can guarantee the original cast will not be part of it. They will be political correct cowards and have a gay/ lesbian/ transgender in the cast. Along with a black or Mexican being “Mikey”. They do it to every remake now. The original cast was just there if even true was to help the “ new cast “ to perform their roles. I guarantee it. Come back to this comment after the movie hits box offices and prove me wrong!

Film rights being owned makes a cheaper remake not so nostalgic...SAG union needs to put these actors back to work due to seniority...not a great time for film also no writing can make up for the time span...

Maybe, just maybe Hollywood won't crap on it. I too hold out childhood great movies dear, but I'm not going to bash every sequel that comes out... Hopefully they'll do it justice. Hopefully not at all like Joe dirt 2, even though that's not a 80s classic lol

Chunk was VERY annoying and irritating! He was also quite naive as well! For example, on one scene where he reads the year of the map “1692” he asks “Is that a year or something?” I just wanted to say to him “No Chunk, it’s a retail price! OF COURSE IT’S A YEAR YA DUMBF@#$!!!” lol
