oh yay adapting to ue5 so they can easily reuse assets for yearly releases
would love to see this in unreal 5 but would require a decent story mode with ability to play coop through campaign (like halo3)
Yes I am, hardcore…. Being into Halo since 2001 I really enjoyed the games right up until 343 shit the bed with Cortanna (idiots) – very disappointed. But for the first time in as many years this has repeaked my interest. It looks so awesome .. I will be purchasing it along with any new console.
yep there were 2 chapters, 1 being bungie making very good games, then you have 2 were 343 kill halo with each new game they bring out, so far 343 have not made a good halo game worth playing and this comes from someone that only played halo 2 on the xbox till halo 3 come out then moved to that till halo reach once halo 4 come out i still just play reach as it was a better game. if 343 wish to get the old players back they need to make a good game with out loadouts, make it so you dont have to pay to change colour, have armour be unlocked from playing the game not not sold at a rip off price in there cash shop and more, as halo no longer feel like halo its feel more like COD and less like the arena shooter it is.
The texturing, contrast, and shading looks like it’s there and is something they tried to emphasize on with unreal engine, but if you go back and look at infinite the base resolution and crispness to the eye is much better in that game. I think it was a mistake switching to unreal engine.
Sell it back to bungie

Why are they wasting time "remaking" halo 1???? Halo 1 is not 343's downfall or halo's downfall….HALO 4 IS BOTH 343'S/HALOS DOWNFALL. If these people where serious about their "rebrand"….You wouldnt see anything related/has the foundations of halo 4's artyle, gameplay or anything halo 4. Halo infinite and H5 foundations is halo 4 LOL….thats why they both suck.
All these people had to do (in order to restore their brand) was to RE-DO HALO 4 THE CORRECT WAY and start from their/get rid of all of the previous H4/5/MCC games !!!!!!! GEEZ and this whole "vidoc" just sounds so corprate generic talk too. I can just smell the D3I hire still present. The pierre hintize guy is just another reskinned phil spencer. Lastly this gameplay their showcasing still looks like the classic 343 overly detailed designs with cheesy corny animations and over the top dramatic music lol. Halo will never be halo without old bungie. Just stop touching halo games microsoft.
Just look at the ending lol. Do you see how they made mastercheif do that corny animation emote with the sword???? ALl bungie had cheif doing was walking through a dust storm with the rifle on his shoulders.

Tbh im not confident. Halo hasn't felt like Halo since the Bungie days, and Bungie isn't the same company since Halo. If we're going to get a good modern Halo game, there needs to be a drastic change in company culture and mindset.

Master Chief is an Icon but tired they brought new life with ODST and Spartan opps, it would be nice to have a RPG element where you're a new BOOT Spartan and have to rise through the ranks as you do you unlock more Iconic stuff (a la COD MW 2/3)
