Final score and break down of score can be found below:

They are on a 0-10 scale with 10 being the best score possible:

Story Accuracy to the Movie 8.5 out of 10
(Follows location, plot and major moments from the film quite well. Has you using both vehicles that were seen in the film and goes in the proper order from stage to stage as the film did. All the bosses seemed to fit as well. Lack of story and cut scenes though does hurt the story factor a bit. But the opening load screen does recap the entire film for any would be player of the game.)

Music Soundtrack Accuracy to the Movie’s 2.5 out of 10
(The soundtrack in this game is really great. But accurate it isn’t sadly. But what we do get is the next best thing. Another classic Sunsoft produced musical score for this game that is must listen. Of course you need the true Elfman Batman theme in a game claiming to be based on the movie but at least what we do get is more than a great listen to from start to finish. )

Game Difficulty 6.5 out of 10
(The game can be a bit tricky at points. You only start out with four energy bars and some enemies can take that down in one or two hits. You do start where you were killed though so that makes the game a bit more enjoyable and easier to deal with. The game is short making it easier as well but a bit too short. Overall though, any average player should be able to play this game just fine and that’s about all you can ask for a game based on a movie such as this one.)

Overall Fun 8.0 out of 10
(Being Batman should be fun. This game makes it fun. You beat up everyone, use grappling hooks and batarangs. As well as drive the iconic vehicles from the film as you blow up everything in your path with machine guns. You definitely get that Batman feel as if it is something out of the movie. Or as close as you can get in a 16 bit situation.)

Final Score: 7.50

I had this game as a kid. Most people don't know but you can also block bullets. Hold the punch button, Batman will shield himself with his forarm armor. This game was great. I also loved Batman Returns for the Genesis.

Can you review Batman Forever for SNES and SEGA MEGA DRIVE?

Another company made their own Batman game concept as well on the Genesis but this was the one that made it to the market and when the Beta of the other version got leaked to the internet it was dubbed with the title Really Crappy Batman when it was really Batman Software Creations or something like that. lol.

There was this other Genesis Beta as well in the style of this but from a different Batman movie unless it's a SNES game I am thinking of.

They did quite a few other few different Batman original games on the Arcade, Spectrum, AMSTRAD, C64 Atari ST & AMIGA too I think.

The best Batman movie, great review.
Keaton doesn't get the praise he deserves, he's excellent in this and Beetlejuice.
