couldn't you also do the same thing without a green screen, and rotoscope it? even though it might take more time, would it work?
just take your clip and up to the point when you go up and split it then just apply a freeze frame and animate it up.
Totally stuck…How exactly do you get the masked freeze frame of the subject to fly out of the scene? I have everything up to that point, but can't get the freeze frame to repeat across more keyframes to get my subject to fly.
