SO, if she don't do the treatment, she might die. but she do, she might be deaf, can not do what she love and be miserable for the rest of her life. that's a definition of "Lose-Lose situation" right there.

This isn’t as true, I have Neurofibromatosis. These tumours do not kill you! Unless they are cancerous. I can’t believe how inaccurate this is.

Honestly drummers are one of if not THE most important part of the band. They either make or break the song and this episode was honestly one of the best I have ever seen!

This is SOOOOOO shocking to me as I play the violin and when I saw the thumbnail I was speechless!😮😊❤
And also I think Betoven was deaf and couldn't hear and he still managed to play the piano!😊

There is the Auditory Brainstem Implant, which can be implanted. Its not perfect, but it can be used to provide some hearing.

It's weird to hear a show talk about neurofibromatosis. I have it myself and I don't know anyone in the Netherlands that has it. And that is really hard, cause I don't really have anyone to talk to about it. I have never had a tumor though, but I do know that I also have a bigger chance of getting breast cancer because of it.

hearing protection and awareness is getting better but so many (semi-&) professional musicians have hearing loss and tinnitus

(I know this story wasn't about noise exposure, but that's the most common cause)

I have the same condition she does and went blind because of a brain tumour.

It was so nice to see it represented

Omg do I understand this girl knowing that your hearing is about to drastically change is not a small thing. I recently learnt my hearing is in trouble and it shook and rocked my world. I’m currently looking at all my options but understand this girl because it’s so not a small deal. I felt for that girl.

You know what, I just realised, I’m never gonna be able to play the violin most likely.
