This is the history of warriors signing young players with potential. For reason the the dubs sign old players. You had caffey,fortson,gugliotta,
Sampson,Dunleavy,vonteego,. Webber,fuller,alexander. I know I forgot some more players. Anyone add to my list. It was depressing to be a Warrior. Can anyone give me a list of warriors last 25 years of the 1st round picks?

15M below is the right price. If he is asking a Jordan Poole like contract, the GSW should let him go. He can score, but his impact will not turn the team to playoff contender.

Why is it that fans are ok with corporate greed, doing whatever they can to maximize their profits but when a player wants to maximize their income it’s seen as greed? Kuminga is only 22 as of this month. I’d like to remind Warriors fans that Steph didn’t make his first all star game appearance until his 4th season. He was 26 when he won his first MVP. Kawhi didn’t make his first all star appearance until his 5th season. He had a coach who excelled at developing young player. I think Warriors fans expectations of JK is unfair considering his age and how Kerr has coached him.

Let's be honest. Kerr has haulted kuminga forsure. But it's not like kuminga has been a Antony Edwards either. 200m for what. Klay before injury was one of the best 2 way players. He was top5 in the league pre injury. He never got 200. Giving these kids who have done nothing 200m plus is the reason they never end up being great. Example- Zion the flop. It's a business but I think until a player is 25 they should never be able to sign a 25+ mil contract a year. Just look at kuminga. Love him or hate him what has he done. A few irrelevant dunks and nothing. This year he either should be given time and he needs to do his talent justice or be traded. Personally I like players like moody. Very professional and calculated. He's a keeper.

Not a bad move for either side. Everyone gets to see if Kuminga is really worth the max. Based on current and past performances, I think everyone would agree Kuminga is not really worth the max. His entire game is based on getting downhill and exploiting his explosiveness- kinda like a poor man's Giannis only without the defensive prowess and the 6'11 size.

GSW can trade Kuminga for Jazz's Walker Kessler - a true defensive anchor that can defend against Anthony Davis, Embid, Wembanyama, Jokic and other scoring bigs

I hear you and agree on pretty much everything but the end. As of today Wagner had been the better player. The guy was a central piece in his NBA team, but also the National team. So, yes JK had the potential, but as of now he has yet to prove that he is as valuable as Wagner.

Just my two cents he is all in leaving Warriors he and agent cant stand Kerr as to how he handle JK. Revenge ask for Max although he hasnt shown much not all his fault. He isnt worth it unless he shows he can take over a game.

Depending on how this season goes...if the Dubs underperform again, I want to blow it up and rebuild. We can't afford to keep chasing championships with old players and depleted benches. It ain't working like that any more. If we sh!t the bed this season, I would be in favor of trading....just wait...Curry & Dray this offseason, stockpiling significant draft capital, and utilizing it to make moves in the upcoming drafts. Maybe we would acquire enough draft capital to pry the #1 pick from whoever ends up with it this next draft for Flagg, or even the year after's class has a lot of promising talent. I don't say that to hate on Steph or Dray, but if we need to rebuild, we need to rebuild. There is simply no way that we could add a player, while depleting our bench, and that one player making us title favorites. Unless it is Giannis. Period. I don't want any other superstars. Most are old...injury prone...and likely to cost us the farm in order to TRY and get two more prime seasons out of our aging vets.

As a lifelong Dubs fan, the LAST thing I want to see is us reverting back to the pre-Steph era Dubs...you know...where we sucked so bad they sold $2 tickets to try and fill seats? And when fans would only show up if we were playing teams with superstar players, so they could see a good team. I'd rather thank Steph and Dray, retire their numbers, give them their statues outside Chase, and then build our future around JK, Mood, Podz, TJD.

Everything I see points to some move before the deadline this season. Dunleavy's comments, a roster stocked with too many good players on good contracts... JK is just another hint. They're saving cap money to sign a name player.

I love that JK is betting on himself. A lot of people won’t understand what that really means and will say why not just take what they offer you because it’s still a lot of money. But when you are someone who bets on yourself in your on job or career situation as it pertains to salary negotiations, you understand why you always should. I had a career coach who told me to always ask for a number that was significantly higher than you felt comfortable asking for. I didn’t understand that at first because that’s what learned fear does. #KumingaDoYouBro

I'm TELLING YOU!!!! JK is gonna be a BEAST!!!! It starts this year, assuming Kerr doesn't sh!t the bed again with his incompetence. JK is a beast. JK SHOULD bet on himself. He will get his bag. The Dubs better FVCKING PAY UP!!! The ONLY reason JK's numbers aren't SUPERIOR to others in his class, is because of Kerr's ABSOLUTE incompetence. Check the total minutes played between him and his class. Hell...I am pretty sure even Banchero has way more minutes played than JK. It is a CRIME!!! And then the Dubs claim he hasn't shown he is worth it. Well, FVCK!!!! GIVE HIM THE CHANCE!!!

40 mins a game, 20+ shot attempts per game, you'll get averages around 25 ppg, 7rpg, 3-4 apg and a steal, on 55+% from the field and 35+% from 3, with around 10 FT attempts per game. Those numbers would be LIGHT WORK for him to put up. That is what I'd expect his floor to be once he is given free reign.

Respect his game. But he would have to average 25pts 7 reb 5 as per game and at least 37% from 3, as well as be engaged on defense and considered a good defender for him to deserve 40 mil per year

That’s crazy. I see what he’s trying to do but there are so many unknowns. What if he gets hurt? What if he has a shooting slump? This reminds me of the Schroeder thing. He bet on himself and lost. Turned down 80mil just to come back for 5mil. I guess life is all about risks.

My main problem with him is his poor rebounding numbers. He's so athletic, he should be averaging 8 rebounds a game. But he uses his athleticism selfishly.

I don't have high hopes for him, we should trade him while we can
