Great move for the Rockets. My only complaint about this era of the NBA is the focus on trades and free agency like it's more important than the games. The Rockets have the players they need already

Jalen should fire his agent because clearly he doesn’t believe in or understand his client talent with this contract. Jalen should have waited, balled out this season and got more, but great news for the rockets.

There is so much to be excited about the Rockets. Unreal athleticism and talent, great role players, everyone’s bought in, fantastic head coach, GM who doesn’t seem to miss, etc. and they are so fun to watch. Jalen still has a high variance, but last year was his first with a legit coach and any kind of team ethos, so his improvement might well be a page turned. If his shooting is even near what it was over the last month or so (and so far in pre-season, etc.) he’s a natural scoring leader, one of the guys with seemingly few areas where he can’t be elite. Gonna be fun.

Jalen Green has played to the worth of about 15 million a year in his career. Hopefully this is leading to a trade. If Green got traded to the Nets he would be coming off the bench behind Cam Thomas.

Real win win for both parties. Gives each side flexibility. Jalen gets a good bag and gets to bet on himself. Rockets get extreme flexibility in a very rigid nba
