Batman: The Animated Series is the only one that truly stands out in my opinion.

It had far superior level design than what we'd seen before on the system (and a decent sprite at that, though not as good as the one in Return of the Joker, I'll admit).

The gameplay (in terms of controls/abilities) did take a step down, but at least it doesn't have that annoying grappling hook we all learned to hate (or at least before we stopped using diagonals when commiting to a jump).

As for Batman Land (you're totally right, I've seen the similarities myself), it literally has nothing to do with the caped crusader himself outside of the themes and it does not live up to the hype (music-wise it kinda does).

The only Batman game I had when I was child is Batman Forever and I've never understood what I should do to progress in the game. I'm 31 now and I'll fix that by finding a Batman Animated series.

It is so funny to how much game prices have shot up in the last two years. That Batman game that was $5 for decades is now a cool 20-25 every day of the week

Awesome video! I still have my boxed copy of Batman the Animated Series on the OG Gameboy. It is definitely a great game and has help up well over time.
