I love clock tower 1 and 3, I've played but never played thru the SNES version. I bought the regular version for switch. I thought the included stuff was junk. I wanted a sissorman figure or statue to display. Was an easy pass. Also wanted an SNES re-release version, that didn't happen. I decided I'll probably buy the import original instead.

I just preorder it a few days ago. Should i be worried? And i heard they are a controversial company. Also heard if you cancel you have to pay a cancelation fee.

IMO, one of the coolest box sets LRG did was for The Missing. You got a high quality plush of the stuffed animal character in the game, a donut stress toy and some magnets, and it was only $80. A pretty good deal considering the game itself was $40. They sold Clock Tower individually for $35 and this CE does not warrant $85 extra to me. Easily could have been less bloated without the acrylic standees, posters, pin and keychain.

LRG collectors editions are just full of plastic junk lol I only ever get the standard editions. I thought the Evoker was cool in the P3R collectors edition til I realized it's just a cheap hollow half of the evoker that's put in a shadow box. If it was a full replica you can remove from the shadow box it wouldve been great even if it was plastic

This collector's edition is terrible. The soundtrack CD and the acrylic standees, maybe the poster, are kind of cool, but the rest of that is just weird junk. I wish they had a mid-tier version that had less knicknacks for closer to $60 or $70. I spent the whole month trying to convince myself this was worth it, but in the end I just couldn't do it. Ordered the standard.

I do give value to the original soundtrack bc I'm a physical music collector. I buy loose soundtracks more or less frequently . I do actually listen to them, both in vinyl and CD formats. Btw there's a word of difference on a good hi-fi and record player vs what we hear on Spotify every day, we've grown accustomed to crap quality music tbh. ALL THAT SAID, and as much as I love a vinyl soundtrack with a cool art on the record, I'm not buying this, it's hugely overpriced and, in general LRG is a huge put-off for me bc despite being the largest limited-release game store/publishers, they're one of the few still without proper distribution channels in Europe, which adds a lot of extra time and money we need to spend, due to long distance shipping charged on the customer, and of customs duties and so on.

Clock tower, as good as it is, isn’t that long of a game if you know what you’re doing. It is not worth 120$, even if you factor in collectors items. This is an attempt to sucker us out of our money.

I tweeted to Wayforward complaining about how you have to wait 6 or more months to get this version of the normal and couldn't LR just send the game first and the rest later. I got some gas lit response about how it takes a long time to make these items and good things come to those who wait. It's too bad they couldn't just offer a code or something for buying it.

I preordered the standard for switch and xbox series x. I'm not really into collecting collector's editions. Plus with LRG the collector's editions take longer to ship. Plus I just want the game. I'm looking for to the physical preorders of tomba, the gex trilogy and hi fi rush from LRG.

I would say it's max 84.99 for this CE, LRG as always overprices their CE!
