think you absolutely HAVE to replace Hutchinson via trade. He’s way too much of a FORCE to be missing and to NOT replace with someone with even 75% efficiency as him. I think Crosby might be a little too far fetched, and the Lions are historically known for not trading for big name players before the deadline. I’d cream in my pants if we snagged Hendrickson depending on what it would cost us. If we could somehow dump Arnold off and maybe a 1st and 5th rounder for him, that would be good on my opinion. Not sure what Hendrickson’s contract currently looks like, but if we got him for a couple years that would be such an unstoppable front D Line when Hutch comes back. That said, Crosby did go to E. Mich and grew up as a Lions fan. I think those intangibles are so huge, the guys are playing from the heart and soul when they play for the team they were childhood fans of growing up. I’ve also heard Miles Garrett’s name brought up and a guy from Jets, although now with Davante trade that doesn’t look likely

If the Lions trade it’s going to be Trey Hendrickson, why? He played with Anzalone with the Saints while AG and MCDC were there and they put a lot of stock into those things. Maxx Crosby would be great but he’s been way to wish washy about staying with the Raiders, and I’m sure the Raiders will want a monster deal to let him go. Hassan holding out makes it an easy no go for the Lions culture, Brad won’t even reach an inch to bring that vibe in. Trey would be great as he’s familiar with coaches, player and he’s probably the best placeholder for the Lions while hutch is out for the season.

If you can give up a 1st & 3rd for a top tier DE it's worth it. Just think about what we have in 25 with Hutch and whoever. We are repeating as Super bowl champs if this happens. Get Myles Garret the Brown are trash anyways and in a total rebuild. Giving up two first rounds I think is a bunch to much. But if they did for Myles Garret I would be okay with this

We were thin as shit before hutch went down. No way you can role with what we’ve got with a Super Bowl contender. I’m not saying we go get Crosby, but need someone that can get meaningful pressure.

A guy like the Browns Za’Darius Smith would be a lot cheaper and I think he’d be a great fit in the locker room. Azeez Ojulari from NYG is another one, he was the first freshman ever to be named a captain by Kirby Smart while at Georgia. He’s got leadership potential. He would cost more than Smith but still no more than a 4th and he’s a lot younger than both Hendrickson and Smith.

No. As great as Max Crosby is, his attitude doesn't fit our locker room staffs and players. Seeing the other day he shoved one of his staff. That's a NO NO..hopefully we with trey fredrickson.
