Amazing information

Look, this will end up just like when Eddie Cochran sued David Bowie/Mick Ronson who sued The Killers for “Mr. Brightside.”

Oh th drama 😂😂😂😂😂
@itsmeanniea October 15, 2024 - 12:32 am
Stop dragging Bruno's name into this just to get more views. Why not mention that it's Tempo Music who owns a portion of the copyright who sued Miley and not Bruno? He's not even listed as a plaintiff. Ah, I know cause most people probably don't know Tempo so you keep mentioning Bruno's name. He's not a fan of this kind of drama and probably the last person who would sue someone. He's talented and got so many hit songs. He doesn't need to go thru this kind of hassle to collect money from someone.

Leave Mylie Cyrus alone...!!!😡 She did not copy Bruno!...i love her song because as a woman I've gone through alot of breakups , bad rationships ..men are pretty much all just jerks ,!!🤮 all treated me bad ..used me than spat me out ! This song helped me through my hard days made me feel stronger 💪 .because its true i can buy myself flowers , write .my name in the sand , talk to myself for hours...etc .. her song does not sound like his , whatever bruno mars needs to find someone else to accuse for his s...! 😒

from a biblical context Mileys wink is symbolic. a winking eye is consistently associated with deceit, insincerity, and wickedness. makes sense
@VisiVisuals October 15, 2024 - 12:32 am
Nothing in this world is truly original anymore, everyone copies or inspired by others and one cannot exists without the other
@FLeigh12 October 15, 2024 - 12:32 am
Unfortunately for the plaintiff's, they could possibly lose, as using a few 'similar' lyrics is permissible and doesn't equate to plagiarism. Only if the melody was similar would they win. The melody is different, but the words are VERY similar.
EVERY lawsuit is different. This certainly isn't no 'Blurred Lines'' theft when Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams outright STOLE Marvin Gaye's song. That was the EPITOME of extreme plagiarism and they had to pay $5 million to Marvin's estate.Blurred Lines made $16,675,690 million in profits.... netting the two thieves a very, V E R Y nice pay day..!!!

Yikes! When I listened to "Flowers", I did think "Wait, that sounds so familiar!". I like both artists. This is just a really bad situation.
@DH09876 October 15, 2024 - 12:32 am
It also has samples of Gloria Gaynor’s I will survive too but she doesn’t seem to be complaining.
@garnett2350 October 15, 2024 - 12:32 am
He's jealous cuz his boring "die with a smile" won't win anything
@JJ2222W October 15, 2024 - 12:32 am
Bruno mars needs to stop his gambling addiction
@justhere5037 October 15, 2024 - 12:32 am
Im almost a 100% sute she had permission! But now bc he is in debt and broke bc of HIMSELF! And her song is a hit he just wants money, i hate him for this bc he knew and allowed it
@crunchybunnylady October 15, 2024 - 12:32 am
It's Ed Sheeran all over again.
@BusinessOppsMom October 15, 2024 - 12:32 am
It is certainly a theft of Bruno Mars' song When I was your man. I told my kids when it came out that she either stole it or he went nuts, why would he ever let her use anything of his. Nothing worse than stealing someone else hard work for you gain. If she was that creative she would have came up with her own music to go with the lyrics.
@jaimemunoz7135 October 15, 2024 - 12:32 am
Bruno is an assh o l e

@carmenfonseca1743 October 15, 2024 - 12:32 am
If you think about it Flowers actually got people to listening to Bruno Mars song, at least the people that never heard it before.... I think that song got him more attention with fans....
@Bcshe1 October 15, 2024 - 12:32 am
Just cos he inspired it doesn't make it plagiarism....so sad seeing all these artists suing each other over the smallest things. It's a scary world for musicians.
@tonilong3624 October 15, 2024 - 12:32 am
Had the conversation in my shop with a few customers long before she won the Grammy it is exactly like Bruno's song....no two ways about it.....BUT....It's a great song and WHO CARES.....
✌️
@sandraeamockus October 15, 2024 - 12:32 am
Bruno Mars has been deleted from my playlist. This is the world we live in today. People can't enjoy other people being successful.
@bindilove3899 October 15, 2024 - 12:32 am
Oh come on Bruno. You have the world and if her song is similar, support the other artist and move on.
@eulaliasembrano1754 October 15, 2024 - 12:32 am
I Was Thinking Also The First Time Ive HeardMiley Sang That Song,I Thought Its Not An Original Song By Miley!So Its True,Its Bruno Mars Song!
@magicdragondragon5560 October 15, 2024 - 12:32 am
At the Grammy when she sang it, the camera went to bruno.
@firedupplayers October 15, 2024 - 12:32 am
It's called "Inspiration" Nobody complains about "Candy Girl" by New Edition sounding like "ABC" by Jackson 5. That's because New Edition was INSPIRED.
@edilogan4164 October 15, 2024 - 12:32 am
The two songs aren't even close. Other than her answering to Bruno Mars' song that apparently Liam used to dedicate to her. The lyrics of each song have completely different meanings.
@angelar1500 October 15, 2024 - 12:32 am
Well then, what about Barbra Streisand/Neil Diamond's "You Don't Bring Me Flowers"?
How far back shall we go?
@LovingAtlanta October 15, 2024 - 12:32 am
‼️When I first heard the song I immediately knew it was a rip off of Bruno Mars but I thought she had permission. I thought the collab’d on it. Why not just pay Bruno? Do the right thing. Why wait to be sued? 🙄
@ylyazar October 15, 2024 - 12:32 am
Everyone likes being sued because it makes them popular when they are being talked about.
@wchocobunny October 15, 2024 - 12:32 am
I personally think this is just a money grab. I dont think she copied the song at all. I think the song was an influence to her song... but not a copy. Maybe this is why "we dont talk about Bruno".....
@MideaMusic October 15, 2024 - 12:32 am
I am a composer and a songwriter and I disagree that Flowers copy IFIWYM. Nope, that's not true.
I myself wrote a song where in a chorus I sing "I will love myself and will buy myself flowers, I will make myself happy". And that was written long before Bruno even said word "flowers", so what now? She'll I go and sue every artist?? 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ NO.
And as for chord progression - all songs in pop music use similar chord progression, hence it's pop music.
@Shdwkd666 October 15, 2024 - 12:32 am
Bruno has not made money in awhile and need money
@bridge2336 October 15, 2024 - 12:32 am
I’m my opinion this is so dumb and silly whenever I see stuff like this. Entertainers, musicians, etc. have been inspired by past influences for DECADES. I’m sure Bruno Mars got his inspiration from someone BEFORE HIM…Elvis anyone?🤷🏻‍♀️ There are only so many lyrics, lyrical notes, suggestions, sounds, etc. that can go around until eventually, pretty much everything sounds the same, and unfortunately, that seems to be the case with today’s music. Most musicians of this particular generation love to “give nods to the past” Now in a illegal aspect should Miley Cyrus and her people have checked first to make sure there weren’t any issues before moving forward with her song? Probably, but like I said, with today’s music it all pretty much the same anyway.
@BiggestEncantoFanOnEarth October 15, 2024 - 12:32 am
What will happen if she’s found guilty of copying?
@Iwant-truth October 15, 2024 - 12:32 am
Her team is brilliant. They created the female perspective or the woman's response to "If I were your man". Both songs are great and I hope they are able to settle things out of court.
@Ashes2Ashes563 October 15, 2024 - 12:32 am
Isn’t music suppose to be inspirational 🤔… this is the dumbest claim.
@alfonsoflores7492 October 15, 2024 - 12:32 am
It's ridiculous, it seems like John Lennon could have sued Paul McCartney for "Silly love songs" (#1 in 1976) because it's a statement Lennon said about McCartney's songs; so the title is original by John on which Paul developed the whole song 😂
@alfonsoflores7492 October 15, 2024 - 12:32 am

@yaaraadrianavardi4163 October 15, 2024 - 12:32 am
It's not the same song
@MorelikeMiranda October 15, 2024 - 12:32 am
So because she made a hit and she sings about buying flowers that gives him the right to her money yeah I don't think so. Lol The songs do not even sound alike at all. Like what are people talking about that would be like telling people oh you used the same chords and notes in your song so you copied me because I used some of the same in mine. Unreal. And personally I'm more of a fan of Mileys flowers then I was with Bruno Mars's song and I've never been a Miley fan but I actually do like flowers!
@nwyk153 October 15, 2024 - 12:32 am
As a casual, I’m not sure if the song is even the same. These ppl wait for someone to be successful, and then they try to sue them.
@Aarxnsprite October 15, 2024 - 12:32 am
They different songs how stupid can bruno be after accusing of her
For this not liking him anymore 😡
