Also, I could relate, I can't model a character for my life if I had too. Over all I think you did an amazing job on this model! With a little more practice, who know what other amazing things you could make. Keep up the good work. 😁💝

Alright, so you may want to put a decimate modifier on the animatronic to decrease the poly amount, you’re gonna have to switch the settings on the modifier around though, with such a high amount of faces it can impact the gameplay performance, besides that, it’s pretty good for a first try.

a lil tip from someone with some blender experience NEVER. SUBDIVISION SURFACE. TOO, MUCH. not only is it good for making sure your computer doesn't explode, but its also not needed. if you want a model to look good with a low vert count, just right click and click shade smooth. trust me. also, if you want to check your vert count, just click the button that has the two circles on it and click statistics. also also, for the stuff like arm and leg covers, you could just made a cylinder, use the inset faces tool, and make the cylinder more round. also also also, nice lore for the robot

Heya! Just came across your channel, somehow rather early to this video too. I myself am a 3d modeler (have been wanting to get into game dev for a while, just procrastinating lmao), and I do know a LOT about it, especially UV unwrapping, texturing, rigging, exporting to UE4/5, all that jazz. If you are willing to, I can either teach you this stuff free of charge, or I can do most if not all of the modeling/texturing, rigging, all that for you, and explain my process along the way, free of charge as well.

I don't want any money, I just see potential in this, and in you. If you're interested, just reply, I got discord too btw. I've been a FNAF fan for a while (kinda fell off that obsession, but it still lingers), and I genuinely think this project you have could be something pretty fun if done well. Again, I don't want money, so don't bother with that, I just wanna help, if you're interested ofc.

Edit: If you want me to as well, I can show you some of the things I've made if you need proof. I'm very strict when it comes to poly count (the lower the better), but I also add as much detail as I can, either in textures or in the model itself. I know how most of the FNAF endoskeletons work, and can use em as reference.

for textureing select the hole model in object mode go into edit mode and press the uv button on the top THEN press the smart uv thing THEN
go to the paint tool then make a texture by going to the top and press texture slots then press the plus :"botton:))" then you can paint away
( i think that should work) or just whatch a video
