I've seen others (including SU&SD) mention that the game unfortunately has the property that it easily can end with players discovering that one player will win if they are not stopped immediately ... which will then just put another player in the lead. This sounds like a minor detail, but it actually will end up with some weird end games. I recall the original AH Civilization having the same property. ... after a game in hindsight the best strategy had often been to come in as 2nd and just convince the other players that their only chance of winning was to trash number 1.

I'm sure that if I was taught to play instead of slogging through 2 games to pick it up that it would GREATLY improve one's opinion of the game.

10:02 "...the most adorable Marxist guerrillas I've ever seen..." too funny, LMAO!

I thought I had kicked my FOMO vulnerability, and passed this one up during the KS campaign. Been watching with growing interest, and your review settled it for me. Pre-oder placed. Thank you , Marco!

Glad you reviewed this. I was interested. And you always provide a more 'wargamer-ish' or 'precise' perspective than many reviewers.

Frankly Marco, I think you have this all upside down. ;)
