BODYCAM VR: The Most Realistic FPS Game in VR – Unreal Engine 5 UEVR. Today I tested Bodycam running on Unreal Engine 5 using PrayDogs Unreal Engine injector and while the frame rate is lower than I wanted the game looks insanely realistic and I had my first shootout online and the guy rage quitted.

02:56 the action kicks off. Got killed a couple of times the got couple back using an Uzi and a Rifle then he raged quit
I showed it to my pc and it turned off
Play fine on 3090ti 24gb-vram i9 -9900k@5.2ghz .32gb ram-3200mhz
MOCKBUSTER…to Unrecord……nuff said!!!!
intel 4790k, 16gb DDR3 2200mhz, and a rtx3090. I get 100+FPS with Everything Maxed @ 4K Native. I was surprised to say the least. Ill be upgrading those decade old components to a (AMD 7950X cpu, MSI Carbon Mobo, and 64GB 7000mhz Ram) tomorrow, all for only $400 from a local guy. Pretty nutty deal but dude works in tech and says i can stress test everything for as long as i want before commiting. Im stoked to see the massive performance leap in this game and pretty much everything else. I was stuck thinking about waiting until the next gen of intel but i just cant pass that up.
If its so easy for praydog to make an aftermarket vr injector then maybe ACTUALLY implimenting it in house for those of us that have VR(growing more and more each day) would be the norm. The way things are going, it seems like regular vr users are steadily increasing in number the more these games are highlighted as working in vr. Imagine this with 6DOF full controller support..absolutely insane.
Check your corners bud lol
im on 4070 ti am5 ryzen 9 ddr5 ram i get 200 fps sometimes higher if i max out graphics i get 80-100 fps
Only for pc I take it psvr2 gets no love or quest 3 stand alone
Steam on oculus? Is that the only wat to download it??
How are you playing the game in vr? I looked up how and it said the game is not vr.
Standalone qeust ?
Unfortunately the FOV just feels so wrong and unrealistic for a real human person shooter. There are also some spots at the map where it looks like an old COD game for PS3 on potato graphic with a lot Aliasing.
I don´t get why peopple are seeing real graphics details. Unrecord is very close to realistic graphic. But this game seems to to pretend to loook like real environment. Maybe my eyes are not the best anymore and I´m seeing things like an old grandpa gamer man. 🙂
Thankyou for the video! 🙂
Is this game only playable on the Quest with that theatre screen? Also does “VR Supported” mean you can play it via Quest/Steam BUT it will show up on that theatre screen and not fully immersive VR?
Did you try object hooks for motion controls?
There can't be anything better than this😮😅
I loved all 16 frames of this video lol. Not every game should be VR.
Oh I guess its time to upgrade my hardware, this shit looks so good
the reissad site has some odd rules about early access but, it's cool they let you show it off anyway.
How do u play this
This game was "supposed" to drop in mid Feb of 2024…..what happened?
How did you play this?
What Mic are you using in this video?
What is minimum GPU for UEVR?
Before inject, the game runs smoothly. But after the injection, everything becomes slow and laggy
my download detects as a trojan virus??
Look amazing 😮
PCVR needs foveated rendering support, and headsets need eye tracking to enable it.
Why dont you stand and play? You actually do more .
You know, people treat this as if it's rocket science but if you put the right color palette in most modern games they will look pretty realistic as well. But people will be like "oh, no, the colors are washed out"
Man, the S3 looks huge on your head! A few more models and it'll be a full fledged helmet lol
Don't get a 4080 super for this. It'll give you maybe a 30% increase in frames, which is still in the barely playable range, and it will look exactly the same, just with a few more frames. I don't think that's worth this much money. Getting a new GPU every generation is really not necessary, your 3080 Ti will serve you well at least until the 50 series comes out. A 4090 might increase the frame rate more, but that is a really, really expensive card, plus you would almost certainly have to change your power supply as well, making it even more expensive.
I think there are better ways to spend money and increase immersion than incremental updates in frame rate for a 4-digit price. 😉 And it won't even make for better video content really…
Can’t wait to try this on 14th gen i9 & 4090oc pc I’m going to splurge on, looked great
This game looks so F'N FUN in VR! Shame about the system requirements though!
Looks cool only thing, a bit jarring and unrealistic is the way some of the graffiti textures have been placed.
Lag like hell
Curious why noone is answering the 'where did you get it' question
All of a sudden this turns into a tech channel with recommendations on pc builds lol gg GT
God that looks awful!
Dunno about you, but I don't see all those rainbow chromatic aberration effects on everything, film grain and lense distortion if I look at things in real life.
Maybe if I was walking around outside using a Quest 3 passthrough or with a 10 year old go pro strapped to my eyes.
But this couldn't look further from realistic if it tried!
Disable all those horrid effects in the Engine.ini and you will probably get about 40fps back and a more realistic looking game too.
