The balance in a 3 player game with Togowa Albion and any base faction. Should be a win for base faction. I play online a lot and pulling IFA factions is almost always a loss in ranking

Touching on your intro part about the storage boxes, man I am bothered about crappy storage in games with the exponential increase of components. I HATE baggies and I will not spend another $50 for cleaner storage. It really irks me with publishers. There should be some considerations with these larger games for quicker setup.

I just wish they'd get the retail version out already on the base game let alone an expansion. Oh and there is no preorder. Stonemaier says retail in November.

I'm looking forward to the expansion and the possibility of 7 player games. We've played MegaCivilization in our group so 7 player Scythe will seem short by comparison :-).

The insert looks awesome. I'm a Plano guy mostly but this has me intrigued.

Thanks for another great review and the insight from your friends was enjoyable as it shows a wider sample of opinions which was welcome.

hi, i'm one of the lead playtesters for the base game. i'm over 50 games of scythe. i'm waiting this expansion so much for variability and new mechanisms. a lot of my friends know how to play, and i think a 7 players game could hold in a 2 or 3 hours game. i want to try it once for sure. thanks for the video. best.

Great coverage guys! The new factions look interesting.

It's cool to see how the end game mechanics seems to bother a lot of people. It is by far my favorite part of the game. I love the tension and sense of urgency it creates.
