Good video, but I think what you’re saying is too good to be true. I think they’re going third party. Not fully yet but games will start as a timed exclusive then come to PlayStation after a certain time. They would be dumb to do that but hey who knows! I also thought what If this bring these games to PlayStation is a short money grab because they just got done spending 80 billion on acquisitions

ive always been a PC guy, but if the next gen xbox is a handheld. i will buy that no matter the price (unless it costs more than a itx pc of similar performance)

Microsoft is ditching making home consoles. There is no money in it.

They want to sell as across platform Nintendo/Sony/PC

Thats why there is no XBOX notoriety on those games.

I haven’t been deeply into gaming since 2013. Recently started taking interest in gaming again while looking up its history going back into the 1970’s. I’ve been an Xbox guy since 2004. When I began looking up the sales of the Microsoft and Sony console wars…yeah I wasn’t surprised when MS had to admit publicly that they have been lagging behind Sony since 2001. But this gets me a little excited again for their new system. I can’t wait to see what they have in store for the new Xbox come 2026!

It's a bold fan theory and i can respect that.
However, i think 2 things. first; not having the xbox symbol or a generic one is the fact that xbox games can be played on multiple platforms. Console, PC and mobile devices. The sheer thought can be overwhelming to try and explain to someone that theyre trying to bring over.
The focus could be them trying to focus on their label since the front line focus of xbox now is Game Pass. Which brings me to my second point...

Game pass' biggest sell point is not that you can just play games on it but you can play top AAA titles the day they release. They absolutely NEED to push out AAA titles cause theyre not gonna keep people subscribed just on indie titles. They have consoles to sell, and they need games.
Reason theyre not getting a release date, that i see, is similar to how they "bait and switched" us into the current gen xbox. 2 of those 4 games were announced years ago. "Hey, we have all these studios, Great games are coming!" Question is...When???
I know they have a team focusing on the next Gen console, however...If they pull what theyve done for the last 2 generations with a whole lot of hardware but no games, the next gen console release will be a seldom one.

Now, im not saying it'll be the death of xbox. Game pass is super awesome! I mostly use it on my PC and Xbox One.... yup, i did not see the reason to move forward onto console this Gen cause I'm playing it safe with being able to play the same games on my PC with a lot more power and not twirl my thumbs waiting on a AAA release to use the $500 piece of hardware.
Unless they can get their credit back up on Releasing games, ill stick to my other platforms to play game pass. Cause right now they are the King of awesome Trailers with no release date and Delayed and/or Canceled games. #RIPscalebound&fableLegends

P.S. will always be a Xbox fan! i have a library of over 200 xbox games on disk across all gens. I'll stay loyal. However, being Loyal to someone or something means you gotta break bread with em and be honest...

So, Series X will have the same fate that Xbox One X had, will end up without being fully utilized. And, if someone think that Xbox consoles are being fully utilized, there's a lot to learn, yes, even Series S, but 5he Series X situation its the saddest of both.

Id love a 360 type era resurgence! I loved this era the most out of all the gens so far. I then went to PS4 and now have a PS5 and Xbox series S but I prefer to play on Xbox tbh

All ps5 exclusive games are actually made on last gen engines so they are not next gen games and not utilizing the systems full potential. I do like the points you said and it kinda makes sense about how its coming together

If Xbox vrings Xbox games day and date to PS5 then there's no reason to own an Xbox unless you wanna use gamepass to rent all of your games. But you might as well get PS5 and PC by then. Unless your patient then so r get PS5 just PC. I also find it funny fanboy channels like this one think a next Gen consoles from Xbox will let them win the next Gen. When games go out every where now.

If they do something this monumentally stupid I'm done with xbox. I ALWAYS (since the OG Xbox and Duke controller) buy xbox first and then maybe a current PS and Nintendo. But duping us into buying a (still gameless) series x after duping us into buying a (basically gameless) xbox one and then moving on to shilling a NEW $700 plastic box to set in between those? Lol
Piss off MS, you need to give us a reason to own the series x before thinking we're going to invest in another console. And then what; they're going to try to sell us a midseason refresh right as the ps6 drops? Laughable. Nah, I'm content to let them play out these dumb moves they're making, get FAFO'd by their customer base/reality, and go with a PS6 day one. In all honesty I'd be shocked if gamepass isn't on the other consoles next gen. And even if it isn't, exactly what titles would I be missing out on? They're still drip feeding us trailers for games they announced back in 2017-18. I'm so fkn fed up with how this company takes our money and then screws us around.

I think they’re going to make 2 new consoles for 2026. They’re going to have their strongest console yet and also on a lower scale they’re going to make a handheld that has the windows gaming market that they’re trying to build right now.

Xbox always had a major problem. First, it's called an Xbox, riffing off the Alien franchise. The competition is called PlayStation--you know what you're getting there. Secondly, it appeals to Americans and almost exclusively Americans, with Halo, Gears of War, and Fable, compared to Zelda, Mario, Kirby, and Metroid. Thirdly, it's always been big and bulky, compared to Nintendo's systems. Fourthly, it's made by Microsoft--Microsoft on PC has modding support, Microsoft on Xbox kind of doesn't. Maybe they need to look at releasing games on the iPhone.
