This Week in Godot we take a look at some of the best games made in the Godot Engine submitted to GMTK Game Jam 2023.
Welcome to another episode of “This Week in Godot” where we take a look at indie games and projects being made in the Godot Engine. (Godot 3.5 and Godot 4)
If I missed your game, I am so sorry! Had to do some digging in the source code for each game to find which were made in Godot.
Whether 2D games or 3D games, these projects are showing what Godot is capable of producing by indie game developers and game development studios alike.

Number 2
Number 2!
number one only because it looks like "Bruce Lee" for Atari 🙂
I'm sorry but a lot of this looks like early 80's crap, from the Atari days. I am sure it's just an art style, but it's one I do not like. I did like number 5 with the adjusting of the world to get the creature to escape. Godot shouldn't be known for this early 80's retro style; because people are going to think that it's all it's capable of.
Number 4
My top 20 game Ragdolf was also made in Godot!
vote goes for nr 1
#2
Number 5
i simply cant vote, they all look interesting.
number 10 is my least favorite, but i dont have any nostalgia for this game since i didnt played it as an kid, im sure the ones who do will love that.
omg the creativity this week is great
nice music you used for the sponsor part, what is the name of the song?
Love thse Godot game video's. And this was a cool take, looking at games in a game jam. I hope you do things like this in the future as well.
I vote for #1!
My favourite is Number 2!
Numer 10 is my pick
Hello. I always vote on your videos. My favorite was number 1. One question, how do you know that the games were made in Godot. I played them but didn't see any reference to Godot.
10!!!!!!!!!!! Genius!
#2 Late-night Lookouts looks interesting. It has my vote!
I think this is one of the more difficult choices you've given us, as it's very different judging a game based on a bit of footage and actually playing the game. I really like the concept of being the yeti though so I'm going to vote for that one, but all were good!
#6
Number 1 overscoped
#8
#1 this time.
Number 2 is my favourite😀
I vote for #4. It looks like fun XD
The most refined of these seems like #5.
It's so dope that a Godot game won the GMTK Game Jam. I fully intended on participating in the jam but had to take a last-minute trip that weekend.
Number 1 is my pick for the street credit!
Number 6 was my favorite. I still fondly remember Tamagachis and Neopets.
Although my game didn't made it to this list (it wasn't as high on the ranking as the ones on the video), I'm happy to see our community grow, this is the biggest year for Godot in this jam, so far. Hopefully we'll have more Godot games in the next years.🎉
Number 2 is my favorite
I'm gonna go with number 5, my only issue is that I was thinking to do something similar hahaha
#5
my fav is #3!
also, wow i forgot that skiing game existed LOL… what a weird memory that just got yanked out of the back of my head. I also remember there was one where you played as a mouse and there were cats trying to eat you and you had to push some green blocks to trap the cats and get some cheese :^) that was my favorite one as a kid. I loved pinball and solitaire too.
#4 is my favorite
